On April 23, the Jialing Branch of the Nanchong Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a police report:
At about 10 o'clock on April 17, the Spark Police Station of our bureau received a report from a citizen, Qiu, that his wife Wu, who was teaching at a school in Gaoping District, was missing and requested to be found.
After receiving the report, the public security organs at the city and district levels immediately organized and carried out the investigation of the incident and the search for personnel. After all-out work, at about 15 o'clock in the afternoon of April 23, the police found Wu in Huafeng Street, Shunqing District. Wu's vital signs were normal and he was not harmed.
At present, Wu has been sent to the hospital for further examination. After a preliminary understanding, Wu said that he ran away from home for his own reasons.
