In the Song Dynasty, gold and silver were used in jewelry making, and there were huge amounts. The ornamentation consistency of the artifacts in the cellar of Dabeicheng in Yixian County is high, indicating that the source is relatively concentrated, and the specifications should also be higher, or related to the identity and grade of the owner.

The currency part displays 18 silver collars and 181 gold leaves from the cellars of Dabeicheng in Yixian County, which are of great significance for the wealth value and historical information carried by the inscriptions and ink books. The latest date of the silver collar inscription is the end of the Northern Song Dynasty. Previously, it was known that the Northern Song Dynasty silver collar was unearthed in China, and according to statistics, there were 19 pieces. The 18 pieces of silver collars unearthed in Yixian County have nearly doubled the number of known silver collars in the Northern Song Dynasty, providing a large number of original physical materials for the study of silver collars in the Northern Song Dynasty.

The miscellaneous section displays artifacts from the cellar that are not easy to classify or whose purpose is unknown, such as copper seals, silver leaves, silver bars, and lotus leaf-shaped gold ornaments. One of the gold-covered bowl-shaped vessels, not seen elsewhere, is shaped like a covered bowl, and three beaded patterns separate the body pattern into three layers: the top of the dragon is hidden, playing between the beads and clouds, the middle is a circle of tangled peonies, the bottom is a circle of dragon's teeth and grass, and the blank space is chiseled with caviar ground. An in-depth interpretation of miscellaneous artifacts is clearly helpful in examining the nature of the cellar.

The exhibition focuses on the concept of "cellaring", and the overall atmosphere highlights the sense of mystery, and the display of alcoves narrows the distance between the audience and the gold and silverware, so that the audience can savor the aesthetics of the Song Dynasty and the superb details of gold and silverware. The gold and silver ware of the Song and Liao periods continued to develop and innovate on the basis of the Tang Dynasty, and the volume of gold and silver ware in this period was generally not large, and the round carving and high relief carving techniques were often used, and the ornamentation paid attention to realism, with a strong life atmosphere. With its exquisite craftsmanship, unique shape and rich cultural connotation, this batch of gold and silver ware cellars in Yixian County has become a bright pearl in the treasure house of ancient Chinese art, and it also shows the interaction and integration between national cultures.
