Writing Classics Online Exhibition No. 1310 - Du Xunhe (Tang) "Komatsu"

author:Hao Yi's life

The Tang Dynasty poet Du Xunhe used a poem "Little Pine" to praise the perseverance of pine trees, and also implied the growth process of talents.

In the poem, Du Xunhe depicts the process of small pine growing tenaciously from the deep grass and gradually rising out of the group. When it was young, it was hidden from the surrounding grass and was not visible, but over time, it gradually rose to prominence, gradually rising from the crowd and eventually becoming a towering tree. However, people of the time often could not foresee Komatsu's future achievements, and only when it was truly soaring clouds, would they marvel at its tallness.

This poem not only praises Komatsu's tenacity and perseverance, but also alludes to the growth process of talents. In real life, we often encounter similar situations. Many people were unknown in their youth, but through their own efforts and persistence, they eventually became the best in the industry. Therefore, we should learn to discover the talents around us and give them more support and encouragement.

Du Xunhe's "Komatsu" not only praises Komatsu's tenacity and perseverance, but also inspires us to have a long-term vision and see the growth potential of talents. Let's look forward to more Komatsu growing into towering trees!

Poetry Commentary:

When the pine trees were small, they grew in very deep grass, and they were buried and could not be seen, but only now did they realize that they were much taller than those wild grasses (basil). Those people didn't know the tree that could reach into the sky until it was high enough that people said it was tall.
