Huawei hopes to migrate 5,000 applications that are used on smartphones for more than 99% of the time in the Chinese market to the HarmonyOS native operating system in 2024, truly unifying the operating system and application ecosystem.
Xu revealed that more than 4,000 applications have clarified their migration plans, and less than 1,000 applications are in communication. This migration is a huge amount of work and has been widely supported by the entire industry and application developers.
