In the late Qing Dynasty in 1911, the Qing Dynasty was on the verge of extinction, and Zhu Xiangli's father at that time was a local talent. Later, after the fall of the Qing Dynasty, Zhu Xiangli left his father to participate in Sun Yat-sen's alliance.
In 1918, Zhu Xiangli went to junior high school in the village's private school. After six years of junior primary school, he continued his studies at the second senior elementary school in the prefecture. Living in a turbulent era, every child has a dream of salvation.
Zhu Xiangli was no exception, he was influenced by his brothers and relatives of the same clan at that time, and he had a great ambition to join the army since he was a child. In 1925, at the age of 14, Zhu Xiangli began to work as a member of the propaganda team, going to major villages to give speeches and encourage local farmers to raise funds for the war.
It wasn't long before his ailing father left the world. Zhu Xiangli, who was surrounded by four walls, still gritted his teeth and chose to go to school by himself, wanting to use knowledge to change the fate of the motherland. By the time Zhu Xiangli was in middle school, the Japanese invaders had already attacked China on a large scale.
In the face of national oppression, Zhu Xiangli, together with his classmates, joined the exploration of the road of anti-Japanese salvation. At that time, as a student of Chengcheng Middle School, Zhu Xiangli relied on his ingenuity and wisdom to help underground party members escape the encirclement and interception of the Japanese army several times.
Later, with the help of the school's principal and teachers, Zhu Xiangli became an active member of the student movement, and was highly appreciated by the underground party of the Chinese Communist Party. After graduating from high school, Zhu Xiangli has been using his identity as a teacher to help China's underground party members as a cover.
Later, because Zhu Xiangli's performance was too active in the student movement in the Taiyuan area, it attracted the attention of the local army, so Zhu Xiangli was wanted in the whole city. In order to save his life, he had to flee to Beiping. After arriving in Beiping, Zhu Xiangli enrolled in Zhonghua Middle School, and while studying in Zhonghua Middle School, he became a member of the Communist Party.
After becoming the Communist Party of China, Zhu Xiangli actively participated in various anti-Japanese wars. In the war, he also relied on his bravery and good fighting, and won many military exploits. Every time he faced the enemy's various formations, Zhu Xiangli could always come up with a way to avoid the encirclement and suppression of the Japanese army.
2. The first military diplomat after the founding of the People's Republic of China was brutally killed on the road
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Zhu Xiangli still fought on the front line of the motherland's cause. Although the main force of the Kuomintang army fled to the island of Taiwan with Chiang Kai-shek, the remnants of the Kuomintang still remained in the country.
In addition to the remnants of the Kuomintang, the perennial war has also allowed local bandits to run rampant, and all kinds of bandits who occupy the mountains have seriously affected the safety of people's lives and property. In the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Zhu Xiangli, as the minister of enemy labor, participated in the anti-bandit movement.
In the campaign to suppress bandits and eliminate the remnants of the Kuomintang, Zhu Xiangli, who has rich experience in coordinating operations, has also been highly recognized by the central government. It only took him one year to completely wipe out the bandits in the Chengdu area that he was in charge of.
Later, because of his outstanding performance in the anti-bandit movement, the Central Committee decided to appoint Zhu Xiangli to go abroad as a military attache in diplomatic embassies. So in January 1950, after Zhu Xiangli finished his work day and night, he quickly went to Beijing to report.
After a month of preparation in Beijing, Zhu Xiangli began to set off for Chengdu on February 5, escorted by the reinforcement class. But when they reached Longtan Temple, they were ambushed by the remnants of the local Kuomintang.
Zhu Xiangli was still very calm at that time, and he first sent an investigator to find out the situation. As a result, the scouts who went there were brutally shot by the enemy. After waiting for an hour, the enemy's strength began to shoot in the direction of Zhu Xiangli.
At that time, Zhu Xiangli was surrounded by enemy troops on all sides, but when the soldiers of the reinforced squad wanted to fight back. Zhu Xiangli stopped it, believing that only a small number of the people who surrounded them were bandits and reactionaries, and a large part of them were the masses of the people.
In order to protect the common people, they decided to retreat in two ways without returning fire. When Zhu Xiangli led two soldiers to retreat to a large courtyard, the two soldiers were beaten to death by local bandits.
Zhu Xiangli, who was furious, still did not forget to publicize the purpose and policy of the People's Liberation Army at that time. However, the frenzied bandits did not listen to these things at all. Later, Zhu Xiangli was brutally killed after being humiliated in every way.
3. The mastermind behind the killing of Zhu Xiangli was actually a 70-year-old woman
After Zhu Xiangli was brutally killed, the People's Liberation Army stationed near Longtan Temple immediately sent troops to exterminate the enemy army after learning the news. Although the enemy army was outnumbered at that time, their cohesion was very loose and they could not defeat the PLA at all.
After several rounds of shelling, the bandits of Longtan Temple were beaten by the People's Liberation Army and fled in all directions. Eventually, the chaos and banditry in the area were pacified. But the real culprit behind the killing of Zhu Xiangli fled.
The mastermind behind this is Zhao Hongwenguo, a 70-year-old woman who bravely killed the enemy during the Anti-Japanese War. During the war years, because of her bravery and good fighting, she was wooed by Chiang Kai-shek. Later, after the founding of New China, she became a traitor planted by Chiang Kai-shek in China.
In the chaos of killing Zhu Xiangli, it was she who assigned her henchman Wu Jie to brutally kill all the PLA soldiers. Later, after the country became more and more stable, the reactionary and hopeless Zhao Hongwenguo originally wanted to disguise himself as an ordinary peasant woman and live the rest of his life.
But because she brutally killed Zhu Xiangli, the People's Liberation Army never gave up pursuing her whereabouts. Finally, at the age of 70, he was successfully captured by the People's Liberation Army. Because of his bad behavior, which caused serious harm to the People's Liberation Army, Zhao Hongwenguo was finally sentenced to execution.
