In order to further strengthen the connection between home and school and form a joint educational force, on the afternoon of April 19, Yilong County PetroChina Longgang Hope Primary School held a sixth-grade parent symposium with the theme of "two-way rush to promote growth, home and school work together to educate the future".
At the symposium, teachers and parents of various subjects conducted face-to-face communication, summarized and analyzed the children's comprehensive performance in learning, and put forward guiding opinions and suggestions on improving the quality of individual learning and comprehensive literacy in the later stage in combination with the current situation of children.
At the symposium, Comrade Ye Juncheng, vice principal in charge of teaching, expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the parents, and at the same time introduced to the parents in detail the remarkable achievements made by the school in campus construction, teacher training, quality improvement, and five education co-construction in recent years. Subsequently, focusing on hot and difficult issues such as "how to help children set goals" and "how to help children develop a correct concept of learning", with the help of videos, pictures, music and other carriers, vivid cases were profoundly elaborated to help parents grasp the development trend of the new era, grasp the direction of the new curriculum reform in a timely manner, clarify ideas, strengthen the determination to cultivate, and help children accumulate steadily and grow up healthily.
At the symposium, Comrade Gao Ruifeng, vice principal in charge of moral education and safety, answered questions for parents on the mental health care of sixth-grade students and the implementation strategy of family education. He particularly emphasized that in family education, it is necessary to add "sugar" to children's lives and attach importance to the power of language communication; to add "salt" to children's lives to improve children's ability to cope with setbacks; and to add "calcium" to children's lives to enhance children's physique and willpower.
This parent-teacher meeting not only built a bridge for the coordinated development of home and school, enhanced the communication between parents and teachers, but also allowed parents to master scientific family education methods, which laid the foundation for helping students grow and develop in an all-round way.
