This scrawny she-wolf, whose hind legs were bloodied and badly injured, apparently had not fully recovered. She struggled to crawl down beside the nest made of the branches, using her body to protect the helpless cubs behind her, while letting out a low, firm warning sound.
At this moment, a subtle atmosphere of confrontation is formed between the hunter and the prey, between the hungry wolves and the freshly captured carcass of a wild boar.
As a weathered veteran hunter, Wu Tou knows the ferocity and cunning of wolves. With the strength of the group, they are fearless in the mountains and forests. However, when he saw the wounded she-wolf and the helpless cubs behind her, he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sympathy in his heart.
On that cold winter night, this should have been the place of a life-and-death battle, but Old Wu Tou made an unexpected decision - he took off the head of the wild boar he had just hunted and carefully placed it in the wolf's den, giving a meager meal to these troubled lives.
Time flies, time flies, and the old Wu Tou gradually grows older, and he can no longer walk freely through the mountains and forests as before. That cold winter night seemed to have become a distant memory, until one day, the miracle of fate struck again.
It was a beautiful evening moment, and Old Wu Tou had just finished a hearty dinner and was about to take a break. However, a hound in the yard suddenly barked wildly, waking him up from his lethargic state.
The wife went out of the room on crutches to check on the situation, but was surprised to find the carcass of a hare lying quietly in the middle of the yard.
