Second, the classification of engine oil
At present, there are fully synthetic engine oil, semi-synthetic engine oil and mineral oil on the market, among which the best engine oil is fully synthetic engine oil, gasoline engine engine oil has grades, the higher the grade, the better its quality, and the price is relatively high, but the quality grade and viscosity grade of the engine oil must meet the relevant requirements of the vehicle manufacturer, such as: 5W-30. W stands for winter, and the smaller the number before W, the smaller its low temperature viscosity and better fluidity. 3 0 represents the grade of summer oil, the higher the number, the greater the viscosity.
3. Procedures for checking the oil level
1. Park the vehicle on a level road surface and turn off the vehicle;
2. Pull up the cabin cover cable (common models are detailed in the driver's side dashboard on the left side, the lower half of the A-pillar, and the visible owner's manual if not);
3. After getting out of the car, open the cabin canopy for the second lock and lift it for support. (According to the inconsistency of the model, the air struts are automatically supported after opening, and the cabin cover is supported with the struts);
4. Find the dipstick (yellow or orange) in the engine compartment;
5. After pulling out the oil dipstick, use a towel or napkin to wipe the residual oil clean, and insert the oil dipstick back into place again (be sure to insert it to the end, otherwise it will cause inaccurate oil level measurement), and after pulling out the oil dipstick, it needs to be vertical or 45°Observe the oil level, between the lowest MIN and the highest MAX to meet the requirements, if it is lower than the lowest MIN, then you need to add oil, open the oil filling port, the oil filling needs to be added a little less, repeat the oil level check steps to confirm the liquid level height, if the oil dipstick between the lowest and highest levels meet the requirements.
