It is understood that in 2023, 15,098 breast cancer screening personnel and 15,697 cervical cancer screening personnel will participate in the "two cancers" screening work of the Central Health Center of Hai'an High-tech Zone, and about 87 cases of precancerous and benign lesions, 23 cases of breast cancer and 17 cases of cervical cancer will be screened successively.
Xu Weidong, director of the Central Health Center of Hai'an High-tech Zone, introduced that the early free examination of "two cancers" is for women aged 35-64 years old, and the screening cycle is 3 years in rotation, and the characteristics of the two cancers are that there are no symptoms in the early stage, and only through early screening can they be detected and treated in time, which can greatly reduce the pain of patients, thereby saving lives, saving families, saving medical resources, and improving the health level and happiness index of women. According to the requirements of the superiors, the Central Health Center of the High-tech Zone will complete the preliminary screening examination, classification guidance, result feedback and follow-up with high quality, establish the "two cancers" screening health file, and timely enter the examination and treatment information into the Jiangsu Provincial Maternal and Child Health Information System.
