In order to effectively improve flood prevention and disaster reduction and emergency rescue capabilities, and better protect the property safety of the people, on April 23, Dayan Town, Li County, organized more than 200 people, including all cadres of towns and villages (communities), water conservancy stations, and village exercise laborers, to carry out the 2024 flood control exercise.
A total of 10 battlefields were organized in this exercise, and the organizational structure was further improved in accordance with flood control standards, and the personnel strength was fully equipped and strengthened, and the responsibility for defense and flood control embankments were divided into companies and specific individuals, so as to ensure that they could quickly mobilize, respond immediately, and fight with all their might in the face of flood conditions.
In the course of the exercise, the participants obeyed the command in all actions, and all teams carried out various flood prevention work in a tense and orderly manner. At the same time, the drill personnel carried out carpet dredging and decontamination of the town's flood control embankments and drainage ditches, and added flood control materials to make full preparations for the flood season.
Through this exercise, the awareness of flood prevention among the cadres has been further strengthened, the discipline of flood prevention work has been strictly enforced, and the flood prevention responsibilities of each cadre and department have been clarified. Through the actual combat exercise, the emergency rescue personnel are familiar with the water situation and the disposal process of flood control and rescue in the town, which greatly improves the emergency response ability to deal with the flood situation, and builds a solid safety line of defense to ensure the smooth flood this year.
