Winning the Premier League title is one of football's greatest achievements. The Premier League is considered one of the best in the world, so many stars are fighting for the Premier League trophy. Since the inception of the Premier League more than three decades ago, there have been many footballers who have achieved this enviable achievement.
Whether they're stars who lead the team to glory or supporting characters who help the team win, more than 300 players have won the Premier League title since its inception in 1992. Some have won only once and never had another chance, while others have created impressive legends in the Premier League.
To congratulate every player who has won the Premier League, we decided to list them one by one. Yes, every bit.
1 Premier League title
Led by Alan Shearer, Mohamed Salah and Jamie Vardy
With more than 150 players having won a Premier League title, this is the most crowded part of our list. The likes of Alan Shearer, Jens Lehmann, Mohamed Salah and Jamie Vardy have all lifted the Premier League trophy in one place, but only once. There are also some names that are often forgotten or even completely unremembered and may not be remembered by fans.
The likes of Tom Cleverley, Matthew Upton and Darren Ferguson are just some of the more surprising ones, but with more than 150 players lifting the Premier League trophy at one time, there are too many to mention.
2 Premier League titles
Led by Thierry Henry, N'Golo Kante and Saul Campbell
The taste of the Premier League title is sweet, but some players can relive it a second time. The number of players in this group is not large, but it is also quite impressive. Stars such as Thierry Henry, Campbell, Paul Ince and Eden Hazard have all won the Premier League twice in their careers. N'Golo Kante has won the title with different teams two years in a row, a feat that has never been seen before.
3 Premier League titles
Led by Patrick Vieira, Frank Lampard and Cristiano Ronaldo
Next up are the players who have lifted the Premier League trophy three times, and they are all the best players in the history of the Premier League. Patrick Vieira and Frank Lampard are both widely regarded as the best midfielders of all time to lift the Premier League trophy three times. The incredible Cristiano Ronaldo also has three Premier League titles on his impressive resume, which he won in a row between 2007 and 2009.
4-time Premier League title
Led by Eric Cantona, Didier Drogba and Vincent Kompany
What's better than winning three Premier League titles? four of course. Cantona's four Premier League titles have made him one of the most iconic figures in Premier League history, and if he hadn't retired prematurely, he would likely have won more titles and moved higher up the list. In addition, the most clean sheets in Premier League history, goalkeepers such as Cech, Didier Drogba and David Silva have also won the Premier League four times.
Raheem Sterling, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus also have four Premier League titles to their name, but they are still playing in the Premier League and could potentially move up the list in the future.
5 Premier League titles
Led by Kyle Walker, Wayne Rooney and Kevin De Bruyne
Manchester dominates the list, with the majority of players who have won five Premier League titles with Manchester United or Manchester City. In fact, there is only one player who has not won at least one league trophy with either team, and that is John Terry, whose five Premier League titles have all come at Chelsea.
Other five-time Premier League winners include Wayne Rooney, Nemanja Vidic and Michael Carrick, all of whom won titles under Alex Ferguson, as well as the likes of Phil Foden, Sergio Aguero and Kyle Walker, all of whom won most of their titles under Pep Guardiola.
6 Premier League titles
Led by Rio Ferdinand and David Beckham
From now on, every player on the list has won all league titles with the Red Devils, a testament to Manchester United's dominance in Premier League history. David Beckham, Nicky Bhatt, Phil Neville and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer all represent a generation that dominated England in the 90s and early 2000s, while Rio Ferdinand is one of Ferguson's most recent stars, winning six league titles in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
7 Premier League titles
Dennis Erwin and Roy Keane
Together, the two United icons have won seven Premier League trophies here. Interestingly, Roy Keane and Dennis Erwin's success in the Premier League has almost always been achieved together, winning six of the seven titles together. Both are Premier League legends and both are considered the best players the position has ever seen.
8 Premier League titles
Gary Neville
Gary Neville was a first-team regular throughout his career at Old Trafford, winning a number of trophies along the way. However, the former England right-back has had the most success at home, having won the Premier League eight times.
11-time Premier League title
Paul Scholes
One of the greatest midfield centrepieces in Premier League history, Paul Scholes has enjoyed great success in the Premier League. The Englishman spent his entire career at Old Trafford and won 11 Premier League titles under Alex Ferguson. The debate over whether Paul Scholes is better than Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard seems to never end, but in terms of the trophies won, the two simply can't be compared.
13 Premier League titles
Ryan Giggs
The player who has won the most Premier League trophies in history is Ryan Giggs. The Manchester United legend has won a staggering 13 trophies in his career, a record that is hard to beat by any player. While he may not be the number one player in the league, he has always been a top star for the Red Devils and his longevity has seen him break numerous records at Old Trafford.
