In 1965, he left this world forever, leaving behind Zhai Yunying and four young children. At that time, Zhai Yunying was not yet 40 years old, and it was the best time in her life. However, she had to deal with the great grief of losing her husband and the burden of raising four children on her own.
She was advised to find a partner again, after all, there was still a long way to go. However, Zhai Yunying resolutely refused. In her heart, Liu Yalou's position is irreplaceable. She chooses to face the hardships of life with strength and bravery, and cares for the growth of her children with maternal love and faith.
The year after Liu Yalou's death, an unprecedented movement erupted. As Liu Yalou's widow, Zhai Yunying naturally became the focus of attention. Some people with ulterior motives wanted her to speak for them, but Zhai Yunying always maintained a clear head and a firm position. She doesn't do things against her will, and she can't tell lies. As a result, she was quickly retaliated against by them. A certain lieutenant general even slandered her as a descendant of White Russia who had "escaped". At the most difficult time, Zhai Yunying had to be separated from her children and sent to a farm on the outskirts of Beijing to feed pigs and grow vegetables.
However, history is fair and just, and in the end Zhai Yunying survived the most difficult days, retired in the early 80s of the last century, she was optimistic and cheerful all her life, with a strong personality, and in her later years, she lived happily in the company of her family, and finally died at the age of 93.
