What we are sharing today is a renovation case of an old house with a construction area of 60 square meters and a floor height of 3.25 meters. Faced with the challenges of awkward floor height, insufficient storage space and unreasonable layout of the original bathroom, the designer skillfully constructed and successfully transformed the house into a comfortable space for the family to live and use. The renovated house not only solves the original problems, but also brings people a comfortable and pleasant living experience.

The entrance corridor has been cleverly designed, and the entrance door has been moved to the side, which provides convenience for the creation of a shoe cabinet to the top. The bottom and middle of the shoe cabinet are left blank for daily storage and use. On the other side, a mirrored door design cleverly conceals the bathroom at the back, making it both practical and aesthetically pleasing.
The dining room and kitchen are located on the side of the aisle, and the dining table is foldable for easy use of space. The clever use of glass as a partition between the two ensures the circulation of light and creates a transparent and bright atmosphere. Inside, the kitchen features an L-shaped cabinet layout and a refrigerator cleverly recessed into the wall, saving space and looking practical.
Walking through the hallway, you will be greeted by a spacious and bright living room. The living room layout is flexible and the bay window is designed with a movable ottoman, which is both practical and creative. A wall cabinet is cleverly set up above the background wall of the sofa, and a dark light design is integrated underneath, adding a luxury and taste to the whole space.
On the other side of the living room is the master bedroom, which is designed to be placed above it by clever use of the ceiling height. The staircase at the bottom can be built into a cabinet to make the most of the space under the bed for storage, which is a practical and space-saving design for small apartments.
A separate reading corner is cleverly hidden in the walkway leading to the living room, with the barn door as a partition, which adds to the mystery of the space and ensures the privacy of the reading area. This reading area is also a popular play space for children, and the interior is decorated with cartoon fun for children to immerse themselves in reading and playing.
Located on the other side of the house, the parents' room is built for the parents of the owner. The interior is designed to combine a tatami bed with a surrounding cabinet, which not only saves space, but also enhances the storage function. At the foot of the bed, the TV cabinet and TV are cleverly integrated, which is both practical and beautiful, providing a comfortable and convenient rest space for the elderly.
On the other side of the parents' room is a cosy little bedroom, a living space created for the owner's grandmother. Above the grandmother's room, the designer carefully built a small study room, which not only meets the grandmother's reading needs, but also makes full use of the space. It is worth mentioning that the staircase here is also cleverly hidden in the cabinet, which is both beautiful and functional.
The door of the renovated restroom has been moved to the hallway, making it more spacious. The large mirror cabinet complements the bathroom cabinet and greatly enhances the storage function. The shower room is cleverly located in the middle of the two toilet areas, providing great convenience for users.
A mini toilet area is designed by the window to facilitate the daily use of the owner's parents, grandmothers and other elders.
This 60-square-metre house can comfortably accommodate a family of six, which is truly an amazing design.
