In 2013, Chen came to Xiamen, Fujian. Although Chen asked for a high "relationship fee" of 200,000 yuan, Yang was still transferred for prosecution on suspicion of illegal fishing of aquatic products after remitting the money.
Also deceived was Lin, a businessman who was caught for gambling. Chen promised Lin's family that he could help "coordinate" the bail pending trial and obtain "special care", and defrauded a total of 1.55 million yuan. In addition, Chen also used this routine to defraud Xu, Li and others of a large amount of money and valuables such as bird's nest and famous wine.

After the tea master Xiaojie got acquainted with Chen, her performance ranked high in the store. During the time they got along, Chen often showed Xiaojie the "case files" he was "investigating", and some of the file bags were marked with the word "confidential" to confirm that he was a staff member of the state security organs. In this way, Xiaojie was blinded by Chen's "special identity" and generous behavior, and fell into the trap he weaved step by step.

Reminder from the state security organs
