There is a folk saying, "Do 10,000 good deeds, and you can become an immortal after death." I have a different understanding of this sentence: there is love in your heart, you do good deeds every day, and you will become an immortal now. I've become an immortal. Because I have love in my heart, and I am doing good deeds all the time.
Our law firm is on the 5th floor. There are wooden handrails in the staircase passage, and if no one wipes them for a long time, they will be covered with dust. As I went up and down the stairs, I used a wet towel to hold on to the handrails and wipe them down. Isn't that often doing good deeds.
The storage room where I lived was converted into a living room, and I bought a laundry sink outside, so that the surrounding residents could wash in it.
The garage where I live is surrounded by piles of construction debris, and I level it as a small vegetable garden. There is no cement pavement between the road surface of the community and the small river, and there is a huge difference in height, so I use the bricks and tiles of the garbage heap to fill it smoothly, and I am ready to buy cement and sand to connect it in the future.
There was a lot of dry mud on the road to Xiaohe next to the garbage dump, and the motorcycle skidped, so I picked up the bricks and tiles and filled them at the junction of the north community and Xiaohe Road. Prepare to harden this dirt path during the May Day holiday.
It is true that I need to pay a monetary price, time and energy to do these good deeds, but this is for the common good.
You see, this morning I used my farming tools to mow a small vegetable garden for my neighbors.
Only when you have love in your heart can you show it in your daily life. Doing public welfare activities for the society, I am also happy. Isn't this becoming an immortal now?
Engaging in public welfare activities does not ask for returns. If you are kind to someone, you need to distinguish between them. If the person is grateful, then it is appropriate to do good, and if the person is not grateful, then do not do charity. If doing charity to such a person can only go against your wishes, it may arouse his hatred for you even more! The story of the farmer and the snake is often happening around us.
I am grateful, I am grateful to live in this era, and I am grateful to live in this environment. I am very satisfied with my daily life, I am willing to contribute some financial resources to beautify the public environment, and I am willing to give some financial resources to help those who have good intentions but are in financial difficulty.
