Qianqian also asked Dandan for her home and school addresses, saying that she was insecure and afraid of being deceived, so she wanted to know Dandan's true information. 8-year-old Dandan didn't think much about it, and told Qianqian all his true information.

According to the clues of the platform, the public security organs quickly found Shu Lijun and found that the case involved many underage girls.
Since 2019, 20-year-old Shu Lijun has been working outside the home, and his parents have been divorced for as long as he can remember, and he has been estranged from his family. Also since 2019, he has been impersonating underage girl accounts online to "hunt" underage girls.
Shu Lijun's target targets are basically primary school students, and he believes that little girls between the ages of 7 and 10 are easier to deceive. All his materials on the platform, including the avatars, are cute pink cartoon character avatars, and the content posted is the daily life of a 10-year-old girl, he imitates the tone of a little girl to chat with the little girl, and the intimate photos he sends to the little girls are all downloaded from the Internet.
In order to deceive the girl's sympathy and get closer to the relationship, Shu Lijun fabricated a pitiful life experience, was bullied by his adoptive father's brother, and was very scared.
After Shu Lijun selected the target, he sent a private message to the other party asking to add friends, and the girl on the other end of the network was "targeted" by him.
Shu Lijun confessed that after locking the "target" on the other end of the network, he usually first finds a way to become the other party's "best friend", and then paves the way step by step until he obtains the other party's private photos or videos. Every time he sees the frightened eyes of these children on video because they have been hurt by him, he feels a sense of pleasure.
Some of these little girls' accounts were applied for without their parents. Some of the children had no way to register their own accounts, so they used their parents' identity information to register accounts, and some of the murdered girls were left-behind children who grew up under the care of their grandparents, and no one cared about their "touching the Internet" behavior, let alone whether they had an online account.
A few little girls were depressed after being threatened and told their parents about it, and some girls had private chats that were discovered by their parents, but these parents had a magical tacit understanding - they did not call the police.
According to Shu Lijun's confession, in the past three years, he has molested more than 40 girls, including Dandan, but none of them reported the case until the public security organs took the initiative to intervene and investigate.
Pedophilia reaches out to social networks

Prosecutors questioned psychologists and learned that many pedophiles would collect related objects, and even keep relevant photos, classify them according to different people, and collect photos and videos in folders, just like Shu Lijun did.

After nearly a year of hard work and multi-party cooperation between the procuratorate and the public security organs, the police successfully verified the identities of the 20 girls who were killed. In the face of victims and their families in different situations, procurators explained the law and reasoning in a targeted manner with sincerity, love, and patience, and with unremitting efforts, obtained relevant testimony from victims to the greatest extent.
In September 2023, the Haidian District Procuratorate of Beijing filed a public prosecution with the Haidian District Court for Shu Lijun molesting a number of minors, and recommended that he be sentenced to 15 years in prison for child molestation and one year in prison for forcible indecency.
On March 13, 2024, the Haidian District Court held a hearing on the case. On 28 March, the court convicted Shu Lijun of child molestation and sentenced him to 15 years' imprisonment and deprivation of political rights for five years, and sentenced him to one year's imprisonment for forcible indecency, and decided to enforce his sentence of 15 years and six months in prison and deprivation of political rights for five years. This is the first child molestation case in Beijing.
