In this issue, we must first investigate the demand market for remanufactured products, and have data to avoid remanufacturing risks.

There are five main parts of auto parts remanufacturing: engine, transmission, steering machine, generator, front and rear axle, and small parts are: turbocharger, air shock absorber, oil pressure shock absorber, air conditioning compressor, starter and so on.
The selection and organization of production of any remanufactured products is mainly analyzed by market demand and ownership. The number of models is small, the market demand for accessories is reduced accordingly, if the selection is not right, then the investment equipment, technology, process flow and infrastructure, etc., the input costs generated are difficult to obtain reasonable profits from the income.
This article will systematically analyze the five main parts of auto parts remanufacturing: engine, transmission, steering machine, generator, turbocharger, air shock absorber, air conditioning compressor, etc., for the reference of remanufacturing people.

Automobile engine remanufacturing
Automobile engine remanufacturing is divided into two categories, one is the remanufacturing of commercial vehicle engines, and the other is the remanufacturing of passenger car engines. The remanufacturing of commercial vehicle engine is mostly diesel vehicles, and the current domestic Weichai and Chaochai loading base is very large. There is also a part of the market demand for imported Mercedes-Benz engines.
A common feature of market demand is that the car ownership base is large, supporting many models, the engine was repaired before, and now with the changes in the maintenance market and the factors of timeliness, there are fewer employees, and now the maintenance plant rarely carries out engine overhaul operations. Some domestic manufacturers have remanufactured Weichai engines. Due to the large number of market shares, as well as the heavy load of commercial vehicle engines, long-distance and long-term work, etc., this product has a wide market space.
According to the author's survey of dozens of large truck repair plants in the north and south, the degree of acceptance of engine remanufacturing by car owners is generally very high, and the owners are willing to replace the remanufacturing assembly with good quality, fast and warranty. Commercial vehicle engines are equipped with turbochargers, which account for a very high proportion of damage, and the market for this remanufacturing is large. The frequency of turbocharger damage is greater than that of the engine, and the cause of damage is high speed, high temperature, and burning oil, so this single variety has a market, which is as much as sixty or seventy times the amount of the engine.
There is also a part of the market for commercial vehicle starters, and the damage rate of starters is less than that of turbochargers, about one-tenth. The starter of some imported engines is more expensive, so remanufacturing has a certain market and profit.

The remanufacturing of passenger car engines is characterized by the demand of Volkswagen (FAW/SAIC), SAIC-GM (including Wuling), as well as some BBA models and Land Rover models. Volkswagen Audi has a large number of cars, and the phenomenon of burning engine oil is more common, so there is a certain market for remanufactured products. The small van market base is large, and the number of cars is frequent, and its volume is also very large. BBA and Land Rover models have high maintenance costs after engine damage, but the volume is not very large, and the accessories in the second-hand car dismantling market make remanufactured products dare not vigorously develop, input and output revenue problems. Therefore, it is difficult to do passenger car engine remanufacturing varieties and selection, and often easily damaged engines can do a little bit to meet the needs of the market, and cannot be produced in large quantities.
According to the author's survey of the demand for remanufacturing of passenger car engines, the BBA class is about 800-1500 units per month, and with the increase of trams, the amount will not be very large. Volkswagen and GM are relatively large, 3000-5000 units per month. There are many specific models of passenger car engines, with different displacements and powers, which should be planned before remanufacturing.
Remanufacturing of automotive automatic transmissions
Automobile automatic transmission remanufacturing compares the model, variety and volume of automobile engine remanufacturing, etc., which is much larger in combination. It is mainly the structure and drive mode of the automatic transmission, and its damage rate is relatively large.
Automobile automatic transmission category, one is the whole assembly, such as Nissan CVT, GM 6-speed, Punch CVT, Toyota series, ZF series and some small models of automatic transmissions;
In addition to the damage rate introduced above, another reason is that the judgment, diagnosis and analysis of professional technology and special equipment limitations of automatic transmission repair industry personnel are one of the great "demand factors";
The author has been engaged in the automobile maintenance market for many years, and found that the remanufacturing market of automatic transmission parts is the broadest, and all the authors are also doing remanufacturing and process training in this area, serving a large number of remanufacturing peers every year to help them design and remanufacture investment and production, and avoid risks.
At present, there are more automotive automatic transmission remanufacturing assemblies and small assemblies in Guangzhou, the south, with sufficient resources and developed logistics, forming an industrial chain. In the industry, "Internet celebrity" is often used as a metaphor and description for automatic transmissions that are often damaged, such as Nissan CVT (model JF011/015/017), Punch CVT (VT2/VT3), GM 6-speed (6T series assembly/TCU), DCT360 assembly, 7DCT250 valve body, 0AM electromechanical and so on. Each demand data ranges from 3,000-5,000 units to tens of thousands of units/time, with a comprehensive output value of more than 2 billion.

Although the volume listed in Table 2 is large, the industry is difficult to do and the profit is not high. After a lot of products are invested, the first batch does not make money, and the second batch only makes a profit after replacing the old parts back to the factory, and investors should pay attention to this risk and cycle.
Other categories of auto parts remanufacturing
Other categories of auto parts remanufacturing are steering machines, generators, air shock absorbers and air conditioning compressors, which are relatively niche projects. There are many small categories under the category, and the remanufacturing of this category can be planned and produced in an independent factory type. The steering gear, generator, air shock absorber and air conditioning compressor underneath each model can be sourced from old parts and then remanufactured into a remanufactured product.
The author once visited the automobile generator remanufacturing factory in Hejian, focusing on various types of generator remanufacturing products, and there are many foreign trade sales. The largest remanufacturing of the direction machine in China is Guangzhou Leap, which is very large in scale and rich in product categories. There are also small and medium-sized factories for the remanufacturing of air shock absorbers and air conditioning compressors, and the amount of remanufacturing is relatively large every year. Some of these categories of remanufactured products can be used in other models, so the risk is relatively small, the amount is large and not too restricted, and the development is better. At the same time, the investment in equipment, technology, and technology is much lower than that of engine and automatic transmission remanufacturing.

In the above table, the direction machine and air shock absorber occupy a relatively large proportion of the accident damage, and the overall market is relatively large, and the foreign trade business direction can be expanded.
