Time Network News Starring Ryo Yoshizawa, the movie "The Two Worlds I Live In" directed by Wu Meibao, director of "Only Shine There" and "You Are a Good Boy", released a pilot trailer and poster, which will be released in Japan in September this year.
The film is adapted from Daidai Igarashi's autobiographical essay of the same name, focusing on the two worlds in which the protagonist lives: the "inaudible world" between his deaf and mute parents and the "ordinary world" that he hears.
Dai Igarashi (played by Ryo Yoshizawa) was born in a small port town in Miyagi Prefecture. Since both of his parents are hearing-impaired, Igarashi takes it for granted that he is their "translator", but as he grows up, he begins to feel confused and dissatisfied with the eyes of those around him. He was also dissatisfied with his strong mother and began to adopt an indifferent attitude towards her. When he was twenty years old, he fled to Tokyo. A few years later, Dai Igarashi, who returned to his hometown, began to realize the change in his feelings for his mother.
