According to the planning plan, the staff was busy and orderly carrying out the planting work, and the scene was busy. More than 100 people cooperated with each other and were full of enthusiasm, waving a shovel to loosen the mud and cultivate the soil, stepping on the soil to fix the roots, and everyone worked together to plant a pine sylvestris. After two busy days, more than 8,000 planted saplings stood proudly and sprouted full of vitality in the bright spring sunshine.
De Xiaozhi, head of the ecological construction office of the Forestry and Grassland Bureau of the Evenki Autonomous Banner, said: "This is a desertified platform on the east bank of the Yimin River in the Bayantuohai region, with an area of 200 acres. Since April 21, we have organized more than 100 people to plant saplings, and more than 8,000 pine trees have been planted so far. It is expected that 12,000 plants will be planted before May 1. ”
The Ewenki Autonomous Banner is located in the core area of Hulunbuir grassland meadow, with a land area of 19,111 square kilometers, a grassland comprehensive vegetation coverage of 59.5%, and a forest coverage rate of 33.1%.
