Famous teachers and famous experts face to face
In order to stimulate the students' enthusiasm for reading, reading good books, and being good at reading, create a strong atmosphere of scholarly campus, and actively advocate and promote reading for all. On April 22, the Propaganda Department of the county party committee and the county Xinhua Bookstore went to Qujiang Town to carry out the 2024 "4.23 World Book Day" famous teachers and famous teachers to enter the campus.
The event invited Gu Ying, chairman of the Changshu Writers Association and member of the Chinese Writers Association, to give a public lecture on the theme of "The Power of Fairy Tales" to the students.
Ms. Gu Ying has published more than 30 children's literature works such as short fairy tales, long fairy tales, and novels, and has won many honors such as the Bingxin Children's Literature Award and the Ye Shengtao Literature Award Chinese Chinese.
In the lecture, Mr. Gu Ying used interactive narration to explain the true connotation of fairy tales to the students. At the same time, combined with fairy tales such as "I Became a Tree", "The Little Prince" and "Elf Bookstore", I told the students that reading fairy tales can enrich their spiritual life and better help them understand life. Teacher Gu Ying also shared her own experience and methods when writing, emphasizing the importance of insisting on reading, being good at thinking and writing diligently.
During the exchange session, the atmosphere was warm, the students enthusiastically raised their hands to ask questions, and Teacher Gu Ying listened carefully to each question and gave sincere answers one by one.
Before the lecture began, the student representatives wore red scarves for the leaders and guests present.
At the event, leaders and guests presented ribbons to the little reading promoters. Teacher Gu Ying presented the signed book and took a group photo with the student representatives after signing on the cloth label. The teacher of Xinhua Bookstore led the students to play interesting interactive games of "you read and I listen" and "you guess better than me".
After the lecture, a meeting was held for young readers, and Mr. Gu Ying sent handwritten blessings to the young readers and took a group photo.
