However, starting on the night of the 24th, with the strengthening of the warm and humid airflow, it encountered cold air that penetrated southward, and the two intersected to form a low vortex, and the development moved eastward. Heavy precipitation will occur in areas with better dynamic water vapor conditions on the east side of the low vortex shear and at the top of the jet stream. As a result, a new round of heavy rainfall will start again, and the flood control situation is very severe:
It is expected that on the night of the 24th ~ the day of the 26th, there will be heavy to heavy rain and local heavy rain in Guizhou, Jiangnan, South China and other places, accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds or hail:
The cumulative precipitation in the next 3 days will be 30~80 mm, 120~250 mm in parts of northern and eastern South China, and more than 300 mm locally:
At present, there are still 14 hydrological stations in Guangdong that are over-alerted, and the soil moisture in the central and northern parts of Guangdong is saturated or oversaturated, and the risk of geological disasters is high, so it is necessary to prevent heavy precipitation and secondary disasters such as flash floods and debris flows, landslides, collapses, and urban and rural waterlogging.
The No. 2 flood of this year has occurred in Beijiang, and it is necessary to pay more attention to the flood risk of the Dongjiang, Xijiang and small and medium-sized river basins, and pay attention to the superimposed impact of water from Guangxi, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian and other upstream rivers on Guangdong, and do a good job in relevant defense work.
At the same time, to prevent the adverse effects of heavy rainfall and strong convective weather on agricultural production, farmland in low-lying areas should be cleared and drained in time to prevent water in the field and crops from being flooded, and economic forest fruits from falling flowers and fruits, etc., and agricultural operations should avoid thunderstorms.
