Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently came to the command post of the 41st Mechanized Infantry Brigade when he visited Chasov Yar to supervise the battle, which is very interesting information, because it shows that the Ukrainian army has sent troops from the northern front to reinforce Chasao.
The 41st Mechanized Infantry Brigade is one of the new military units of the "4" formed by the Ukrainian Army in the spring of 2023, and the same batch of troops also includes the 42nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, the 43rd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, and the 44th Mechanized Infantry Brigade.
Because these brigades were formed a little later, they were not the units used by the Ukrainian army for the summer counteroffensive of that year, but a group of mechanized brigades formed with the latter's "surplus equipment" and weapons collected by the Ukrainian army.
Of course, these brigades were also on the battlefield not long after they were formed, but they were deployed on the northern front.
Because the Ukrainian army at that time was worried that during the major counteroffensive on the southern and eastern fronts, the heavy Russian army group on the northern front would suddenly attack, so these new army units were pulled over to stabilize the front.
As a result, of course, we also know that the western cluster of the Russian army on the northern front is basically immovable.
At that time, the Russian army in the direction of Redman was still in the central cluster, and the Ukrainian army suffered great losses in the face of the central cluster, but it was able to fight back and forth against the western cluster.
- Of course, the western cluster does not fight with each other very much, and has been "punching in" back and forth in Sinkiivka for a long time, and the meaning is justified.
By the time the Russian army switched to a tactical counteroffensive on all fronts, when the Western Cluster really wanted to make a fuss in Sinkiivka, it was beaten by the Ukrainian army in front of it and lost its armor, and even the 14th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian army on the opposite side had the leisure to shoot some satirical videos, which were full of material.
Later, after the Central Cluster moved south to Avadiivka, and the Airborne Forces were also transferred from Redman to Artemsk for operations, the Western Cluster took over the entire northern front from Kupyansk to Redman.
The once "powerful" Western Military District has now been readjusted into the Moscow Military District and the Leningrad Military District, but the Western Cluster is still there;
- As a result, it doesn't work either.
The 25th Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Army is the only airborne unit in the Ukrainian Army, and in the context of the Ukrainian Army's airborne / air assault units are almost pure infantry, only this brigade still retains a small number of detachments with real airborne / air assault capabilities.
The main force of the department has been fighting on the northern front, and in order to strengthen its combat effectiveness, the Ukrainian army gave it all the equipment of the second weasel infantry chariot battalion that was in place later.
As a result, when the battle of Avadiivka was tight, the brigade was transferred to Agata for reinforcements.
Of course, these were relatively early situations, and the 25th Airborne Brigade was resting in the rear at that time, so it can't be said anything.
And in the ensuing battles, the Ukrainian army transferred combat brigades directly from the front on the northern front to reinforce other directions.
The 41st Mechanized Infantry Brigade inspected by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this time, its original deployment direction was Kupyansk, and it took half a year to deploy there, and the equipment gradually arrived, and now it has been pulled to Chasov Yar for reinforcements.
Compared with the unit in the direction of Chacheng that is "prestigious" but cannot rest because of the long-term hard fighting, this kind of newly built brigade that has not suffered a major blow is neat in terms of personnel and equipment.
It is very likely that such a brigade will be stronger than the original two or three missing brigades on the Qiacheng front.
And is it only this brigade that came to the aid of the northern front?
- Not really.
The 42nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, which was originally operating in the forest area opposite Redman, was also pulled to the direction of Chasov Yar before, and the two brigades were deployed to the new brigade, which could support it for a while.
It can be seen from the situation of the battle on the front line of Chacheng captured by the Russian drone that the infantry strength of the Ukrainian army operating on this front is quite strong.
And if you want to talk about it seriously, the 67th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, which was "conditioned" before, was actually pulled from the northern front.
When fighting on the northern front, because the combat pressure was not great, this far-right armed force could barely listen to the military orders of the Ukrainian army, but as a result, they went to Chasov Yar to grind meat, and they directly picked it and stopped doing it.
In fact, it is self-evident which side has the greatest intensity of battle.
And just recently, the Olechedine fortified area in the direction of Avadiivka was also reinforced with a 115th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, which was also transferred from the northern front. As a result, this unit could not adapt to the high-intensity fighting, which shows the intensity of the operation on the northern front.
However, before and after, the Ukrainian army did transfer troops of 5 regular brigades from the northern front to support the Avadiivka and Chasov Yar directions.
Since the northern front can't even contain the Ukrainian army, then in the context of the transfer of so many troops from the Ukrainian army, it's time to behave, right?
