In order to improve the capacity of the ancient village cableway in the Huangling Scenic Area, reduce the queuing time of tourists, and improve the tourism experience, the Huangling Scenic Area has begun to upgrade the ancient village cableway. Due to the construction needs, the ancient village cableway will be suspended in stages, and everyone can go up the mountain through the terraced ropeway, take a high look, and feel the charm of 10,000 acres of terraced fields and the ancient village of Huizhou.
The specific schedule is as follows:
April 22 - April 27: Gucun Ropeway (A Cable) is suspended, and the Terraced Ropeway (B Cable) is in operation
April 28 - May 5: Gucun Cableway (A Cable) and Terraced Ropeway (B Cable) run synchronously
May 6 - the end of July: Gucun Ropeway (Rope A) is suspended, and the Terraced Ropeway (Rope B) is in operation

Arrive at the Huangling Scenic Area, take the B cable up the mountain, get off the cable car and go up to our first stop - Leixin Bridge, Laixin Bridge is also known as the glass plank road, here, you can see the green terraces in the distance overlapping and orderly, compared to the golden yellow of spring. If the sea of golden flowers is overflowing with the breath of spring, the turquoise terraces contain the power of a good harvest. There is also a high-altitude zipline at the head of the bridge to experience, and brave friends can try it and feel the excitement of flying over the terraces.
Walking across the base bridge, you can see the eaves flying in the distance when you turn a corner, and there is our second stop - snack street. There are many special snacks in the snack street: grilled chicken thighs, large meat skewers, rock sugar gourds, in-laws cakes...... It's delicious and inexpensive, and it's a good place to take a walk and satisfy your cravings. At the end of the snack street is the Tianjie Restaurant, and the autumn banquet of the Tianjie Restaurant is a local specialty delicacy that foodies cannot miss.
Walking forward to Tianjie Restaurant is our third stop - photography bar. The photography bar downstairs is a lantern workshop, which is full of special lanterns, the atmosphere is super good, the second floor can also do makeup, who doesn't want to experience being a sun-kissing lady in Huangling? The third floor is a good place to take pictures of ancient villages, especially at night, when the lights are on, you can take in the lights of thousands of homes.
Walking up the stairs at the entrance of the photography bar, the red house in front of us is our fourth stop - Yixin Building. From the steps on the right side of the front hall, you will come to the wedding room of ancient Huizhou, where you only need a little money to change to "classical Xiuhe" to feel the charm of traditional wedding in Huizhou. After visiting the wedding room, go downstairs to the back hall, you can see the aunts roasting the glutinous rice cakes in front of the fire, and the baked glutinous rice dumplings are sweet and soft, which is worth tasting.
Coming out of the back hall of the Yixin Building, go up the steps, and the large platform on the left hand side is the best place to experience the autumn - the autumn observation deck. The Autumn Observation Deck has a wide field of vision, which is not only a good location to experience the autumn up close and check in the ancient village, but also an excellent viewing point to watch the sunset.
The push window on the right hand side of the big sundeck is a good camera for punching in, and after taking a photo, it is the second floor of Wuguitang, where there is also an Internet celebrity check-in camera waiting for you, and the beauty next to you is also very good at taking pictures, so bring your photo partner to check in together!
How can you come to Huangling without seeing the autumn season? Coming out of Wuguitang, a few steps up is our seventh station -- the drying workshop. The drying workshop is located at the high point of the ancient village, where you can not only taste the sweet sweet potato glutinous rice cake, but also have a glimpse of the ancient village.
After watching the spring and autumn, we walked down the long steps and came to our eighth station - Tianjie Ancient Lane. On both sides of the Heavenly Street, there are many Hui-style shops, like a historical picture scroll, reproducing the ancient and rich cultural features of Huizhou. Bamboo weaving, emblem embroidery, intangible cultural heritage lanterns...... A variety of intangible cultural heritage handicrafts allow you to feel the charm of ancient Hui culture.
When you come to Huangling, which is known as the "most beautiful place to experience nostalgia", you have to experience the village aunts' barricade wine and the members' meeting at the entrance of the village, right? The sweet and intoxicating rice wine and simple songs, the enthusiasm of the village girls are all melted into the rice wine. There is also a member meeting in the memory of the 80s, allowing you to experience the lively daily life of Huangling Village.
If Huangling Tianjie is a flowing "Qingming Riverside Map", then Huaxi Water Street is a condensed version of the Jiangnan Water Town. Looking down, the murmuring water is filled with cool mist, and the flowers and trees dot the exquisite pavilions and pavilions on both sides, which is an elegant Jiangnan charm.
