Zhao Yunlai, born on September 19, 1944 in Luoyang City, Henan Province, since childhood love calligraphy and painting, under the influence of his parents, 8 years old began to learn calligraphy, Linxi Erwang, Yan Zhenqing, Su Shi, Mi Fu and other famous posts, decades of Linchi.
He graduated from Xi'an Highway College in 1966, and his calligraphy and painting works have participated in various exhibitions and competitions across the country and won many awards.
In January 2018, he won the Excellence Award in the first Calligraphy Impression Cup National Calligraphy Hard Pen Calligraphy Competition.
In May 2018, in the 7th Henan Province New Rural Construction Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, his calligraphy works won the Excellence Award.
In June 2018, he won the Excellence Award in the 27th Mass Calligraphy Exhibition in Henan Province.
