In August 2023, the suspect Meng stayed in a homestay in Chengguan District for a long time on the pretext of Lanzhou tourism, which was managed by Pei Mou, and the two gradually became familiar with each other and developed into boyfriend and girlfriend. Meng Mou was dating Pei, and at the same time he was soliciting prostitutes through the Internet behind his boyfriend's back to do his "old business", and after discovering his girlfriend's "gold-making business" through chat records, Pei continued to maintain a relationship with him, and provided free accommodation for Meng, while Meng provided Pei with "special services", and both parties took what they needed.

"In order to avoid the blow, we went back and forth to Yunnan, Guizhou and other places, ranging from 400 yuan to 600 yuan per order. Seeing that Pei did not object, in order to make quick money, Meng gathered her "good sisters" to the homestay, and posted pornographic service information on the Internet through keyboard players Peng, Wang, and Li to attract guests to take the bait, and then introduced them to prostitutes through WeChat and QQ. Before each transaction, Meng and others would negotiate a price with the prostitutes, and after the matter was completed, the prostitutes would pay the prostitution money they received at 100-200 yuan per order to Meng and others who solicited "business", and in half a year, the four people made a profit of more than 50,000 yuan through the introduction of prostitution.
