The prince of the East, also known as the Emperor of Donghua, was born from the innate aura in ancient mythology, symbolizing the blazing sun, and its divine power is on par with the ancient gods such as Fuxi and Nuwa, and even compared with Gonggong and Zhurong. But in the sequel to "Journey to the West", Emperor Donghua appeared as the master of the Biyou Fairy, and his power was greatly weakened, and some of his former glory was missing.

When the Heaven and Earth Treasure Book was activated, Zhen Yuanzi's face was full of confusion, and his former wisdom and insight seemed to have gone with the wind, and his performance was not as good as Tang Seng on the side. This former great immortal now seems so powerless.
8. Golden-winged Dapeng

When Wutian attacked the Western Heaven Buddha Realm, Dapeng spread his wings and flew high, but Wutian couldn't catch up. After escaping, Dapeng did not stay away, but secretly guarded the reincarnation of the Buddha, this wit and loyalty, worthy of the Buddha's protector.
7. White Lotus
The White Lotus, with extraordinary talent, has a quick comprehension of the way of martial arts, and in a short period of time, under the guidance of the giant scorpion, it is comparable to Bi You, who has practiced for many years. However, this woman has deep feelings, but her mind is a little simple, she is often fascinated by the sweet words of others, and even became an accomplice of evil forces for a time, as if all her wisdom is poured into martial arts, but her EQ and IQ are slightly insufficient.
When it comes to the contrast of strength between White Lotus and Biyou, there has been much to say. It is worth mentioning that the White Lotus came from an ordinary background, but it was destined to rise in adversity, and finally return to the right path and achieve positive results. But in the plot of her killing the giant scorpion, the film and television drama is different from the description of the original book. In the play, she is brave and decisive, and in the novel, she relies on the treasures given by the Pleiades Star Officer to restrain the giant scorpion. Although this move was successful, it also invisibly weakened her strength evaluation.
6, Tang Monk

When he faced the demons, he was like a mighty dragon in the world, and his voice was shocking: "I can see through your disguise at a glance, demon, you have nowhere to escape!" Such a Tang monk has surpassed his past self and become a real Buddhist warrior.
5, Nezha
Under the fierce attack of Wutian, Lingshan and Heavenly Court suffered an unprecedented catastrophe, and few were spared. Nezha, the righteous god of the heavenly court, although he escaped by luck, he exhausted the original god and lost all his mana, like a powerless wasted person. To make matters worse, he was also knocked off a cliff by an impostor.
However, fate does not seem to have completely abandoned him. Nezha not only survived, but also accidentally triggered an adventure. With the help of the ancient gods, he borrowed Xingtian's body and was reborn like a lotus flower. Not only was his cultivation fully restored, but he was even stronger than before, becoming an important force against Wutian and his henchmen.
Nezha in the original book is not far from Wukong and Erlang in strength. He was defeated by Goku in a short period of time, more because of his underestimation of the enemy and being confused by his magic.
4. Buddha of Rulai
In the legend of "Journey to the West", the Buddha is revered as the pinnacle of combat power with his boundless mana, and he can subdue Sun Wukong in one move. However, in the story of "Journey to the West", the Buddha seems cautious and low-key, and he does not choose to face the challenge of lawlessness.
When Wutian led the crowd to the western heavens, the Buddha did not fight to meet him, but left a few profound words and left quietly. Doesn't he have the prowess he once had? The Buddha knew very well that the heavenless rule of the Three Realms is a number of days, and non-human beings can easily change it. So, he chose another way to deal with this catastrophe.
If the Buddha turned into a reincarnated spirit child, he descended to the mortal world. Sun Wukong and other disciples began to search for their master. In this journey to protect the spirit child, Rulai's maternal uncle Golden-winged Dapeng Bird also joined in, and he spread his wings and flew high, quickly escaping from the western sky controlled by lawlessness. At the same time, Biyou Fairy and White Lotus and others also joined in this action to protect the spirit child.
3. Lighting the ancient Buddha
In the story of "Journey to the West", the ancient Buddha of the lamp has quietly appeared. When the four Tang monks and apprentices finally arrived at the Western Heaven Holy Land after hardships, they should have received the scriptures from Ananda's hands, but they never thought that it was a wordless book. At this moment, the ancient Buddha of the lamp was compassionate, and he did not come forward directly, but skillfully sent Venerable Baixiong to come forward and retrieve the wordless scriptures, so as to imply that the Tang monks and apprentices needed to sincerely seek the true Buddhist scriptures again.
In the far-reaching legends of Buddhism, there is the concept of "three Buddhas": Maitreya Buddha represents the future, Shakyamuni Buddha symbolizes the present, and the Burning Lamp Ancient Buddha is the embodiment of the past. In the narrative of "Journey to the West", the status of the ancient Buddha is even more lofty, even surpassing the Buddha. Wutian also has a deep respect for it and longs to be supported and recognized by Randen. And when the ancient Buddha passed away, his wisdom and light did not disappear, but always guided Sun Wukong in the dark and became the light on his way forward.
2. Lawlessness
Wutian, this character, can be said to be a qualified villain. He is both wise and powerful, and he is not a fool who has been defeated by too many words.
In "Journey to the West", Wutian shows his well-thought-out strategy and layout, and every step is carefully planned, showing his grand blueprint and ambition. He was not defeated by fate, but by the goodness of his heart. Bai Wutian repeatedly thwarted Hei Wutian's schemes, making many of his plans come to naught.
When Wutian challenged the Western Heavens, many Taoist immortals chose to stand by, such as Sanqing, Dongji Qinghua Emperor, Zhenwu Emperor, etc., but they did not make a move. However, Nezha and Erlang God are involved, which seems to be somewhat contradictory in reason.
Wutian was once regarded as a sinner who subverted the Three Realms, but now that he is re-examined, his openness and courage make people empathize. Even if he eventually went into darkness, he still maintained that daring spirit. In the Three Realms in the absence of Rulai, Wutian became the undisputed strongest, and even Sun Wukong, who fused sixteen relics, could hardly match.
1, Monkey King
Fighting the Holy Buddha, Sun Wukong. "Journey to the West" has given Sun Wukong even more amazing strength, making his strength grow by leaps and bounds, far from being comparable to the past. Sun Wukong not only became a fighting Buddha, but also fused the power of sixteen relics, whose power is almost comparable to that of Wutian. In the confrontation with the six-eared macaque, he defeated Black Lotus in more than ten rounds, showing a huge leap in his strength.
The true pinnacle of Sun Wukong was when he incarnated as the seventeenth relic. With the posture of Nirvana, he urged the strongest state, and finally defeated Wutian and saved the Three Realms. Although this battle almost killed him and Wutian, it also confirmed that Sun Wukong's strength was above the gods.
The storyline of "Journey to the West" is gripping, and although the repetition of martial arts action is a little dizzying, it still doesn't stop it from being a compelling masterpiece.
