In recent years, our county has intensified its efforts to strengthen 82 small reservoirs in the county, and has completed the reinforcement of 46 reservoirs, laying a good foundation for the county to build a model of Tianfu granary hill area.
This is the Xujiawan Reservoir in Longchengzhai Village, Yilu Town, which is a small (two) reservoir with irrigation as the main and flood control functions. The reservoir is composed of dams, water discharge facilities and spillways, with a controlled rainfall collection area of 0.224 square kilometers, a total reservoir capacity of 114,500 square meters, and a designed irrigation area of 1,250 acres.

Through the remediation of sick and dangerous reservoirs, the potential safety hazards of the reservoir in our town have been eliminated, the reservoir management facilities have been improved, and the irrigation water source for the masses has been guaranteed, which has provided water conservancy guarantee for the agricultural production of our town.
In April 2023, the county will carry out risk removal and reinforcement of the reservoir, adjust the slope ratio of the dam, and use hexagonal blocks and frame beams for slope protection on the inner and outer slopes, and build a new road and install a protective fence at the top of the dam, which has created favorable conditions for the irrigation of farmland in the village.

At the same time as the county remediates the sick and dangerous reservoirs, it also repairs and remediates the irrigation channels in some small reservoir irrigation areas. In the past few days, at the construction site of the irrigation channel of the Tuanjie Reservoir in Jincheng Town, the workers have worked hard and worked overtime to rush the construction period, striving to complete the project in May and smoothly release water to ensure spring irrigation.

The project involves 5 kilometers of new irrigation canals, and we have completed the construction of 4.5 kilometers of canals, and the remaining canals are planned to be completed by the end of April to meet the requirements of spring irrigation and water release in May.

At present, our county has built more than 400 kilometers of reservoir canal system, involving more than 20 acres of farmland irrigation.
