The Meitan County Veterans Affairs Bureau organized 30 "Let Me Come" veteran volunteers to provide volunteer services such as activity consultation and traffic guidance during the Tea Expo.
On April 19, in the marathon event held in the China Tea Sea View Area of Yongxing Town, Meitan County, the Veterans Service Station of Yongxing Town, Meitan County organized a veterans volunteer service team to carry out on-site guidance, item storage, midway supply, cheering, drinking water and other volunteer services at the race site.
"As a veteran volunteer, I feel very honored to be able to participate in the volunteer service activities during the Tea Expo and fully demonstrate the good image of our veterans. Ran Guoxuan, a retired military volunteer, said.
"In this volunteer service activity, more than 110 'Let Me Come' veteran volunteers were organized, with more than 2,100 hours of service. The relevant person in charge of the Veterans Affairs Bureau introduced.
It is reported that since 2020, the Meitan County "Let Me Come" Veterans Volunteer Service Team has actively participated in volunteer service. Up to now, there are 3,217 team members, with a total of more than 700,000 hours of volunteer service and nearly 70 service projects.
