In 1941, at the age of 16, Amin had grown into a tall and strong man, and in order to solve the family's livelihood problems, he took up a lot of temporary jobs to earn money and support his family.

However, as he did not earn much money from temporary work to support his daily expenses, Amin was still struggling to make ends meet, so in 1946, he chose to join the British African Colonial Corps to improve his life.

At that time, after Amin joined the British African Colonial Corps, because he had no culture, military academy and combat experience, he was assigned to the 4th Battalion of the African Rifle Corps "Royal African Rifle Army" as an assistant cook.

In the face of the strong Tanzanian army, Amin panicked and hurriedly sought help from his big brother, Libyan leader Gaddafi, who hurriedly sent troops to help Amin.

But what Gaddafi never expected was that the Ugandan army was already in disarray, with no morale and combat effectiveness, and was about to collapse at the first touch, while the Libyan army was mired in this war, suffering heavy casualties, which made Gaddafi miserable.

On March 27, 1979, the Tanzanian army fought outside Kampala, the capital of Uganda, and Amin, as the president of Uganda, knew that he could not hold the base camp, so he fled to Jinja, the second largest city in Uganda, under the protection of his subordinates.

Seeing Amin fleeing without a fight, Gaddafi felt that he had no need to protect him, so he entered into peace talks with the Tanzanian army and stopped fighting.

And Amin saw that his big brother Gaddafi was unwilling to help him, until he was defeated and the general situation was gone, in order to survive, he could only flee to Libya with his wife, children and a large number of belongings and valuables, seeking refuge in Gaddafi.

After Amin fled to Libya with his wife and children, he continued to do things in a high-profile manner, and Amin's subordinates and bodyguards frequently clashed with the Libyan military and police, which made Gaddafi very unhappy, and after weighing the pros and cons, he issued an "eviction order" to Amin.
