On April 22, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs who participated in the 2024 China (Jinju) Cellulose and Gypsum Science and Technology Innovation Exchange Conference and Exhibition arrived at the venue one after another.
In the afternoon of the same day, the city held a symposium on the high-value application of the cellulose industry, which was attended by Dai Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of United Front Work, Wang Zichao, deputy mayor, and representatives of relevant experts and entrepreneurs. The participants discussed and exchanged ideas on technology research and development, market development, brand building, school-enterprise cooperation, etc., and made suggestions for the development of the cellulose industry.
Dai Li said that this symposium has built a platform for communication and cooperation between the government, enterprises and scientific research institutes, and laid the foundation for the development of high-value applications in the cellulose industry. Relevant departments should set up a working group to formulate a promotion plan to ensure the efficient implementation of various tasks; to strengthen communication and coordination with superior departments, and actively strive for policy support and financial support; to hold regular symposiums to track the development of the industry, solve existing problems in a timely manner, and accelerate the development of high-value cellulose industry in our city.
