The most beautiful April day in the world, labor planting is at the right time. In order to give full play to the function of labor education and promote the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor of the team members, on the afternoon of April 22, the brigade department of Xingye Road Experimental School in Linquan County carried out the activity of transplanting melon seedlings.
Before planting melon seedlings, the team members started the wasteland opening action under the guidance of Zhang Ziyou, an off-campus counselor. Zhang Ziyou first introduced hoes, shovels, nail rakes, shovels and other labor tools to the team members, and demonstrated the methods and skills of safe use. The team members were eager to try, they waved the shovels in their hands, weeded and turned the ground, cleared the stones, and made sufficient preparations for the transplanting of melon seedlings.
Everything is ready, only melon seedlings are needed. Zhang Ziyou led the team members to bring the seedlings to the greenhouse, and introduced them to the basic conditions for cucumber growth and planting steps.
Subsequently, the team members carried out the transplanting work in two ways. All the way to transport vegetable seedlings, all the way to the hoeed vegetable field to dig a pit, and it didn't take long for the preparation to be completed.
Then, Zhang Ziyou guided the team members to think about how to plant melon seedlings reasonably? They used their brains, combined with the "continuous division" knowledge learned in mathematics, counted the number of melon seedlings, the number of planting areas, calculated how many trees were planted in each row, and then divided the planting area of a row into corresponding areas. Seeing the team members calculating seriously, Zhang Ziyou gave them a thumbs up.
When it was time for the team to show their skills, they gently picked up the cucumber seedlings, carefully placed them in the pit, watered them, sealed the soil, and compacted the soil to dry decently. The busy figures of the team members have become a beautiful landscape, and the melon seedlings have been sent back to a comfortable "home", and the team members have also planted their dreams!
Transplanting melon seedlings allowed the team members to get close to the soil and experience the wonder of nature. Finally, Zhang Ziyou enthusiastically introduced other vegetables in the vegetable garden to the team members, and a variety of vegetables dazzled the children.
"Work hard, know and do". In this activity, the team members walked from books to life, from the classroom to nature, witnessed the growth of plants, and felt the magic and difficulty of life germination.
