Atlus today (April 23) officially unveiled the new game screen of its new RPG "Metaphor Fantasy", and the game is confirmed to be released on October 11, 2024, coming to PS5 and XSX|S, PS4 and PC platforms, the game supports Chinese. The game will be available in a physical collector's edition.
According to the official introduction, the physical collector's edition of "Metaphor Fantasy" will include the physical game body, iron game box, original soundtrack, art set, Homo Tenta metal brooch, iron, cloth map of the United Kingdom of Ukronia, in-game clothing & battle BGM & set DLC redemption code, game pre-order features (experience points + travel item pack), and as a celebration of Atlus' 35th anniversary, the physical collector's edition will also include Atlus' 35th anniversary digital history book and soundtrack.
"Metaphorical Fantasy" is set in a fantasy setting, and the protagonist is involved in the election of a new king caused by the "election magic" launched after the king's assassination, and becomes a candidate for the new king and then joins the battle for the throne. In order to break the curse imposed on the prince, the protagonist group embarks on a journey through the kingdom. As a fantasy RPG, the game features multiple races, including ordinary humans, goblins, elves, elves, Lusantes, and the Yugifers, who are discriminated against because of their appearance. The game is created by the team of "Persona 5", and Katsura Hashino, Sokushima Nariki, and Meguro Shoji will all participate. The game's combat system is a combination of the one-click commands and action gameplay of the Persona series, and also inherits the daily time advancement system of Persona.
