On the Loess Plateau in April, the temperature is getting warmer and the vegetation is recovering. Between the mountains, clusters of new green joints grow, and in the mountain orchards, apple blossoms, rape flowers, and begonia flowers are blooming one after another, and spring is full of joy.
In Nangou Village, Gaoqiao Town, Ansai District, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, 68-year-old Zhao Yongdong is bent on his waist and picks up branches scattered on the ground in the orchard, moving vigorously. "Spring does not move, autumn regrets. If you want to grow good fruits, you can only work hard!" Pruning, spraying, cleaning the orchard...... The busy Lao Zhao is the epitome of the fruit farmers in Nangou Village in spring.
Nangou Village, located in the old revolutionary base area of northern Shaanxi, has more than 1,000 villagers and was once a barren mountain village in the "Loess Valley". In recent years, Nangou Village has developed modern agriculture led by mountain apples according to local conditions, and small apples have become a large industry that enriches the people and increases income. "I made more than 100,000 yuan by selling apples last year!" Zhao Yongdong said excitedly.
In 2023, Zhao Yongdong's son Zhao Wei will return to his hometown and become a new farmer. Live streaming, planting and breeding cycle...... Zhao Wei tried to use new technology to give "wings" to the orchard. "The trademark has been registered, and we will strive to sell the brand this year; the breeding rabbit has realized the income, and we are preparing to buy a few more goats recently; and we plan to build a new high-standard orchard in the autumn......" Walking among the fruit trees, Zhao Wei gushed endlessly.
In addition to the apple industry, the vigorous development of rural tourism and agricultural research has also added confidence to the realization of rural revitalization in Nangou Village.
In the afternoon, more than a dozen buses slowly drove into Nangou Village. Nearly 700 middle school students from Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, got off the bus and lined up and walked into the fields. Loosening, laminating, perforation...... The children carefully sow the corn seeds into the fields, and the sound of laughter echoes through the valleys.
The plan of the year lies in the spring. In the spring of Nangou Village, the garden is full of spring and hope.
