Once, one poor and two white
On April 23, 1949, the People's Navy was born in the smoke of war, at that time, the People's Navy only had a small number of ships abandoned by the Kuomintang army and warships that patriotic generals and officers and soldiers revolted and sailed back.
Nowadays, the heavy equipment is in hand
In 2012, the Liaoning was officially delivered to the Chinese Navy, and the mainland had its own aircraft carrier.
In 2019, the domestic aircraft carrier Shandong joined the combat sequence of the People's Navy.
In 2022, the Fujian ship was officially launched, which is the first catapult-type aircraft carrier designed and built by the mainland completely independently, and the People's Navy has entered the "three-aircraft carrier era".
Eight "10,000-ton drives" joined the battle sequence to loyally protect the motherland's thousands of miles of sea frontiers. The submarine force has independently developed and has both nuclear and conventional weapons, and has built a great underwater steel wall.

On this day, the Chinese People's Liberation Army broke through the Yangtze River and liberated Nanjing under the rule of the Kuomintang, and on the same day, the first naval unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the East China Military Region Navy, was officially born.

In 1980, when General Liu Huaqing visited a U.S. aircraft carrier, the U.S. side asked to keep a distance, and General Liu tiptoed to "listen" to the photos of the U.S. soldiers' explanations, which made countless Chinese people teary-eyed.
On April 1, 2001, Wang Wei, the "Guardian of the Sea and Air", made a heroic sacrifice to defend the safety of the motherland, and for 23 years, "81192, please return" continued to echo in the sea and sky.
On April 27, 2016, Zhang Chao piloted a carrier-based fighter to conduct land-based simulated landing training, and the plane suddenly failed, in order to save the fighter Zhang Chao missed the best opportunity to parachute and died heroically, in 2019, Zhang Chao was awarded the national honorary title of "People's Hero".
From "Escort Operation" to "Ten Thousand Miles Home"
In the past 15 years or so, the People's Navy has dispatched 46 escort squadrons, more than 150 ships, and more than 36,000 officers and men, successfully completed more than 1,600 escort missions for more than 7,200 Chinese and foreign ships, and rescued and escorted nearly 100 ships of various types, making important contributions to ensuring the security of important international trade routes and maintaining world peace and stability.
Rushed to the aid again and again, showing the true character of a great country. Typhoons in the Philippines, freshwater crises in the Maldives, volcanic disasters in the Kingdom of Tonga...... The People's Navy has transported more than 1,400 tons of supplies, rescued more than 2,200 patients, and delivered medical treatment and medicine to tens of thousands of victims.
International cooperation has enhanced exchanges and mutual trust. Up to now, the People's Navy has made more than 100 overseas visits, visited more than 90 countries on six continents, welcomed more than 300 foreign warships, and conducted nearly 100 joint exercises and training with foreign militaries.
From the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere, from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean, the track of peace continues to extend in time and space, from which we can see the sonorous steps of the People's Navy to accelerate its transformation and become a maritime power, and we can see the responsibility of a major country to convey friendship and safeguard peace.
Replacement of Main Battle Equipment Naval formation exercises and training to temper combat effectiveness
In recent years, the People's Navy's main battle equipment has been developed and iterated rapidly, and how to quickly cultivate and maintain combat effectiveness for a long time is particularly important.
Recently, the Xianyang warship formation, which had successfully completed combat readiness patrols and far-sea training missions in the South China Sea, the eastern Indian Ocean, and the western Pacific Ocean, returned to a military port in Sanya. During the mission, the Xianyang warship formation was deeply integrated into the joint operations command system, and successively completed dozens of exercises on various topics, such as wide-area maneuvering, air defense and anti-missile defense, and joint strikes.
In recent years, the Navy's main battle equipment has been continuously updated, with the fourth-generation equipment as the guide and the third-generation equipment as the main body. In less than a year since the Chinese-made Type 055 missile destroyer Xianyang was listed, it has completed the leap from receiving and installing basic subjects to full-scale training and assessment and actual combat training in the open sea.
Yan Jinqing, the Navy's Xianyang warship, said: "Compared with the past, the current warships have a higher degree of informationization, are more technologically intensive, and have higher requirements for the overall quality of officers and men. ”
In May 2023, the Shandong aircraft carrier squadron went to the waters of the western Pacific Ocean for the first time in a systematic and large-scale manner to participate in the "Joint Sword" exercise.
Focusing on the actual conditions of the battlefield, the formation has been maneuvering in the open seas and oceans, attacking and defending in a wide area, and has successively studied a number of practical combat scenarios, such as joint search and antisubmarine search, joint firepower strikes, and regional air supremacy operations. Simultaneously carry out combat duty, subject exercises, and ship-based flights, and carry out joint exercises with rocket forces, shore-based aviation units, and other surface combat groups outside the island chain.
