序言 | 倾听追梦者的声音

A few days ago, two teachers, Lu Xin and Ye Liang, came to my office and sent a copy of the new book "Tell You About Shangda" published by Shanghai University Press, which was organized and compiled by the Admissions and Graduate Employment Office of Shanghai University, edited by Lu Jin, Lu Xin and Ye Liang as deputy editors-in-chief and other four series, collecting 30 essays and essays written by outstanding students of Shanghai University, which either trace the big red tradition, or pour out the feelings of leaving the hometown to study, or lament the youth, or pour out the learning experience, or express the pursuit of dreams...... The content is rich and colorful, and when I read it, I not only felt it, but also moved my heart, and had a strong emotional and ideological resonance.

Now, Teacher Lu Jin and others are about to edit the second anthology of "Tell You About Shangda", Lu Xin and Ye Liang asked me to write a short preface, and sent me more than 30 works written by my classmates to read. It is worth affirming that these works are all real learning and life experiences, with the meaning of showing up to speak, their language is very fresh and simple, and some are more beautiful and elegant, which matches the temperament of the campus scenery of Shanghai University, and also naturally integrates with the multi-blood nature of youthful life. These works have rich themes and connotations, and the same style as the first volume, not only have the deep affection for the University and the gratitude to the teachers, but also the depiction of the beautiful campus and the narrative of youth life, as well as the tracing of the history of the school and the reflection on practical problems, which also contain the thinking of the generation of students on social issues, growth and employment, life planning and study and life. Of course, these seemingly casual words also hide the love for family, school, and patriotism of college students, as well as the expression of friendship, love, and feelings for family and country.

Obviously, the purpose of editing the anthology "Tell You About Shanghai University" is to let more high school students who are interested in applying for Shanghai University know about Shanghai University, and let more parents and teachers pay attention to Shanghai University, so it has the purpose of publicity. Therefore, how to tell a good story and how to communicate through these stories is not only for editors, but also for authors. The title of the book "Tell You About Shanghai University" is also very good, which accurately reflects the original intention of the editors, through the students who have been admitted to Shanghai University to tell and share their personal experiences of campus study and life, and to speak, tell and confide in the voice of those who have experienced it, which is undoubtedly true, real, and more feasible and infectious. Therefore, it is undoubtedly very meaningful and empathetic for them to tell the stories they have heard, read and related to the University, especially the happiness and thoughts of studying at the University, and to express the dreams and pursuits of the students.

序言 | 倾听追梦者的声音

Shanghai University is a beautiful campus, but also a modern campus, is a fusion of red culture, Shanghai culture and Jiangnan culture of the campus, not only has the charming Pan Pond, but also a variety of flowers and trees, spring, summer, autumn and winter are enchanting and colorful, no matter to the corner of the campus, are picturesque, quiet and elegant, suitable for reading, suitable for writing, suitable for making friends, suitable for research, this is an environment that is easy to precipitate thoughts, cultivate elegant temperament, but also easy to acquire knowledge, cultivate literacy campus.

序言 | 倾听追梦者的声音

I think the works in this collection are very good, there are stories of personal experience, meditation on history and reality, there is an outpouring of youthful feelings, there are designs for the future, the pursuit of dreams, and the joy of indulging in the fragrance of books...... This collection not only conveys the voices of some university students, but also conveys the spirit of Shanghai and inherits the spirit of Shanghai University. Therefore, "Tell You About Shangda" is a book worth reading, and it is also a masterpiece that can attract more young students with love, wisdom and ideals to resonate at the same frequency.

Finally, I would like to say that I wish you all the best students and welcome more outstanding students to come to Shanghai University, so that we can read and write together, seek knowledge and progress together, pursue our dreams together, and grow together!
