In order to further strengthen the awareness of environmental protection and build a green home together, on the occasion of the 55th World Earth Day, on April 20, the New Era Civilization Practice Station of Jishun Road East Community, Yan'an Road Street, organized the theme activity of "Soil Talking".
A short video of "Soil Talking" stimulated the interest of the "Little Environmental Guards" in exploring the relationship between soil and environmental protection, and the young volunteer teachers deepened the children's understanding of soil in the form of knowledge quizzes.
Subsequently, the volunteer teachers led the "Little Environmental Guards" to collect soil outdoors and guided them to observe and study different types of soil composition and structure in the form of field experiments, which not only exercised the children's hands-on ability, deepened their understanding of the soil, but also enhanced the children's awareness of soil protection.
Through a series of interactive educational practices, this practical activity enabled the teenagers to establish the ideological awareness that protecting the environment starts from me and from the small things around them. In the next step, Jishun Road East Community, Yan'an Road Street, will continue to carry out various practical activities, so that young people can have a deeper and thorough understanding of "energy conservation and environmental protection, low-carbon life", and guide them to start from small things, practice and contribute to the construction of a green and environmentally friendly home.
