On the evening of April 21, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Southwest Drama Exhibition and the 8th National Drama Excellent Repertoire Exhibition, the Guiju "Peach Blossom with Human Face" was staged at the Guangxi National Theater. On stage, the actors of the Guangxi Drama Theater sang beautifully and looked forward to the brilliance, leading the audience to relive the legendary story of the Tang Dynasty poet Cui Hu "The face of the person does not know where to go, and the peach blossoms are still smiling in the spring breeze".
Guiju "Peach Blossom with a Human Face" is a representative repertoire of dramatist Ouyang Yuqian's drama reform, and it is also a repertoire performed at the Southwest Opera Exhibition in 1944. "On the occasion of commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Southwest Opera Festival, we hope to pay tribute to the classics and those dramatists who contributed to China's new drama in the context of the Anti-Japanese War by singing "Peach Blossoms with a Human Face" with our hearts. Plum Blossom Award winner Su Guozhang once starred in "Peach Blossom with a Human Face", and this time, as one of the artistic directors of the play, she instructed young actors on and off the stage to shape their roles with heart. It is reported that the play is performed by Yao Min and Gong Xiangyu, outstanding young actors of Guangxi Drama Theater, with delicate and beautiful makeup, graceful and vivid singing, and the dialect full of life is close to the masses and touching.
"Last year, in this door today, the peach blossoms on the human face were red. The face of the person does not know where to go, and the peach blossoms are still smiling in the spring breeze. "A pair of beauties, a good story, and a song that has been recited to this day "The Title Capital City Nanzhuang" makes people's hearts ripple. The Guiju opera "Peach Blossom with a Human Face" tells the story of the scholar Cui Hu who returned from the list, came to the suburbs where the peach blossoms were in full bloom, and met the girl Du Yichun when he was thirsty for tea, and the two of them stirred up clear waves in their hearts. The following year, Cui Hu came to the old place again, only to see that the peach blossoms were still the same, and he didn't see the people of last year, so he inscribed poems on the door and left abruptly. Du Yichun returned home to see the poem, and he became ill. When her life was in danger, Cui Hu arrived. When Du Yichun saw the person he wanted, he suddenly woke up like a dream, and the old father knew the reason for his beloved girl's illness, so he fulfilled this happy marriage.
"If you have to become a star, why die, I am willing to be a mandarin duck and not envy the immortals. As the actors collectively took a curtain call, the audience cheered and applauded one after another, and the audience was still unsatisfied to discuss this enviable romantic love. Citizen Wang Yilin said: "This is the first time I have watched Gui Opera, the choreography, lighting, and makeup of "Peach Blossom with a Human Face" are refreshing, and the love between talented and beautiful women is deeply touching. I hope that the Guangxi Nationalities Theater will often carry out theatrical performances, and next time I want to bring my family to feast my eyes. ”
Liang Zhongji, director of Guiju Opera "Peach Blossom with Human Face", told reporters: "Many of the plays in this exhibition are of progressive significance, showing that dramatists have used literature and art as weapons to awaken people's will and devote themselves to the anti-Japanese salvation movement." It is reported that the Guangxi Drama Theater, as the inheritance and protection unit of the national intangible cultural heritage of Gui Opera, has always focused on cultivating literary and artistic talents in the new era, so that the treasures of Chinese culture can be passed on from generation to generation. In recent years, the Guangxi Drama Theater has also rehearsed traditional Guiju operas such as "The Legend of the West Chamber", "Baolian Lantern" and "Rich and Wealthy", and cultivated a number of young Guiqu opera actors, such as Yang Qing, a national outstanding young artistic talent and a national local opera quintessence performance inheritance.
