On the occasion of the 55th Earth Day, the "bag stars" in Huangpu District responded positively and once again devoted themselves to the cause of environmental protection with practical actions. On April 21, 20 groups of parent-child families from the Most Beautiful Home Civilization Alliance set off from the Wuliqiao Community Cultural Activity Center to jointly carry out a riverside race walking and picking up activity with the theme of "practicing low-carbon energy conservation and protecting the blue planet".
With the sound of the departure signal, the "bag star people" wearing uniform vests embarked on the journey of riverside walking. This race walk is not only a physical challenge, but also a journey of knowledge and exploration. They followed the designated route, racing and carefully using picking tools to pick up garbage on the side of the road. In this process, parents and children not only participated in environmental protection actions, but also deeply understood the importance of low-carbon energy saving.
There is also a special task hidden along the way. Children need to recognize and discover two plants on their own in the process of picking. They are encouraged to observe, touch, smell, feel the beauty of the world with their five senses, and interact intimately with nature.
After completing the task and returning to the designated location, the children's faces were filled with satisfied and proud smiles.
