Thai media said that the last time Thailand adjusted the daily minimum wage was in December 2023, when the salary was raised by 2-16 baht, from the minimum daily price of 328-354 baht to 330-370 baht.
At the beginning of April this year, the Thai cabinet approved the decision of the Tripartite Salary Committee to raise the daily minimum wage, raising the minimum wage to 400 baht for hotels with four-star and above and more employees in 10 popular tourist areas, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Suratthani, Krabi, Songkhla, Phang Nga, Prachuap, Chonburi and Rayong.
