In the era of the popularity of martial arts novels, some writers who have become famous have to write different martial arts stories for multiple newspapers at the same time every day because of their large number of manuscripts, and they are serialized, which is a very difficult challenge for martial arts writers.
Martial arts writers who write serials can't get sick, can't ask for leave, and can't "open the skylight" for the day's martial arts pages. Therefore, it is difficult to create, and the energy is demanding, and it is simply an impossible task.
In order to meet the requirements of every day, famous writers will have more "gunmen" next to them, that is, ghostwriters. Some of these ghostwriters are friends of the writer, and some are backup writers found by the publishing house itself, mainly to deal with unexpected events and cannot serialize martial arts.
The ghostwriting thing belongs to the secret that is open in the circle of martial arts writers, such as the three musketeers who enjoy great fame and fortune among the martial arts writers in Taiwan Province, Sima Ling, Wo Longsheng, and Zhuge Qingyun have all found many ghostwriters to continue to write their own serialized martial arts stories. And these ghostwriting groups include Gu Long, Xiao Se, Yi Rong, Sima Ziyan, Wu Xingguo, Ding Qing, Shangguan Ding, Huang Ying and others.
And among these ghostwriting groups, many famous artists and even martial arts masters were born in the end. Among the well-known works of many martial arts writers, many of them are written too well by ghostwriting, and their light actually obscures the situation of the original author, which directly proves the profound meaning of the phrase "gold will shine sooner or later".
Through observation and reading, there are at least five martial arts novels that surpass the original author because of ghostwriting, such as Wo Longsheng's "Tianxiang Biao" is one of them, and of course, there are the latter four examples, which are more surprising than the other.

Wo Longsheng's status in Taiwan's martial arts circle back then was equivalent to Jin Yong's status in Hong Kong's martial arts circle. Of course, the premise is that Sima Ling faded out and Gu Long had not yet risen to the occasion. And among the masterpieces of Wolongsheng's martial arts, which has always been recognized by readers, "Tianxiang Biao" is also difficult to bypass.

Gu Long's "Sword Poison Plum Fragrance", ghostwritten by Shangguan Ding

Gu Long is a prodigal son, and he writes martial arts for money, because with money there is the wine and beauty that Gu Long wants. When his chivalrous fame rose, all major newspapers had to ask for manuscripts, and Gu Long began to write the operation of asking for the full manuscript fee at the beginning, and this "Sword Poison Plum Fragrance" is one of the most famous things.
Gu Long wrote a few episodes of "Sword Poison Plum Fragrance", and disappeared directly after receiving all the remuneration. The publishing house had no choice but to find the three Shangguan Ding brothers who were still in college. But Gu Long, who became famous, also had troubles, because his innovation in martial arts also entered a bottleneck period, when he had a lot of ideas, but it was too delayed to drink and soak in beauties, so the "Blood Parrot" in "Six Tricks of Horror" announced that he would put his pen on hold after writing the first few episodes.
The publishing house had no choice but to find Huang Ying to ghostwrite, and Huang Ying should have completed the creation of "Body Parrot" after getting all of Gu Long's creative ideas for "Six Tricks of Horror", and then successively wrote "Vampire Moth", "Black Lizard", "Wingless Bat", "Crystal Man", "Pink Skull", etc., which can be regarded as completing the story of Gu Long's "Six Strategies of Horror".
Huang Ying also ghostwrote for Gu Long, and really became the most ancient dragon martial arts essence of the martial arts writer, some readers once said that if it were not for Huang Ying's untimely death, then the five great martial arts masters would become the six great masters, and Huang Ying and Huang Yi would become the "double yellow eggs" among the six martial arts masters.

Jin Yong's "Dragon Babu", ghostwriter Ni Kuang

When Jin Yong serialized "Tianlong Babu" in "Ming Pao", he needed to travel to foreign countries on business. After weighing, I found my friend Ni Kuang to ghostwrite. and asked Ni Kuang not to write the characters he had already written to death.
But as soon as Ni Kuang took over "Tianlong Babu", he didn't care, first wrote Ah Zhu to death, and then wrote Ah Zi blindly, not only that, but he almost wrote the third protagonist of Juxian Zhuang Shaozhuang Lord You Tan Zhicheng, and during Jin Yong's business trip, Ni Kuang wrote a total of more than 30,000 words.
When Jin Yong came back, Ni Kuang's ghostwriting almost collapsed, but there was no way, because although Ni Kuang went against his original idea, it made the story of "Dragon Babu" more "all lovers are evil, and no one is wronged". Make this work more Zen of Buddhism.
Although Jin Yong later revised "Dragon Babu", he completely deleted the more than 30,000 words ghostwritten by Ni Kuang, but it could not change the development and direction of the story brought about by Ni Kuang's intervention in "Dragon Babu", which undoubtedly proves the importance and excellence of Ni Kuang's ghostwriting of "Dragon Babu".

Wen Rui'an's "Young Ruthless", ghostwriter Chen Tianxia

There may be some fans of Wen Ruian who will spray as soon as they see this. Don't rush to spray yet, let's see if the following analysis makes sense.
At that time, Wen Ruian wrote "The Four Famous Arrests of Teenagers", among which "Teenager is Cold-Blooded", "Teenager Chasing Life", and "Teenager Iron Hand" are all over, and when it comes to "Teenager Ruthless", which everyone is looking forward to the most, Wen Ruian suddenly stopped writing it before.
Later, "Less and Ruthless" appeared on the market, and the novel named Wen Rui'an was circulated for a while, and it was very similar to Wen Rui'an's style in terms of words, sentences, characters, and storylines. Therefore, readers will not distinguish between the real and the fake.
Later, many years later, I learned that this "Young Ruthless" was not written by Wen Ruian himself, during which Wen Ruian also reprimanded Chen Tianxia, the author of "Young Ruthless", and Chen Tianxia also fought hard when reprinting "Young Ruthless" (renamed "Sitting in the World" when it was reprinted, and the two of them came and went, and readers were still confused.

Based on this, no matter how badly written Chen Tianxia's "Young Ruthless" is, at least it still allows readers to see a kind of ending of "Young Ruthless", so it is much better than Wen Ruian who has never been able to complete "Young Ruthless".
