From April 20th to 21st, the internal testing activity of the China Aerospace Science Rocket World Youth Challenge (CSWRC) and the science education innovation experience class jointly built by Yunxi Primary School were held in Xiong'an New Area. The event was hosted by the China Aerospace Science Popularization and Culture Collaborative Innovation Platform, and undertaken by the Xunxi Community Aerospace Science Popularization Center, Yunxi Primary School and Resonance Culture Media Hebei Xiong'an Co., Ltd. More than 100 primary school students from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei completed the preparation and assembly of the rocket body, engine fuel preparation and bench test test experiment of the popular science rocket through the popular science training of aerospace experts.
This challenge aims to stimulate the curiosity, imagination and desire of young people, explore the innovative path of all-round development of learning ability, creativity ability and collaboration ability, comply with the impact of the digital age on social development, and cultivate future-oriented and innovative talents in the new era who can control AI tools. After the end of the internal testing event, the preliminary and semi-finals of the Xiong'an Division will also be launched simultaneously, and it is planned to officially open the competition for global teenagers at the Xiong'an Design Center from May 25th to June 1st, and more young people will join this grand event of aerospace science popularization. The successful holding of the internal test and the science education innovation experience class has laid a solid foundation for the upcoming challenge activities.
As a collaborative innovation platform for China's aerospace science popularization and culture, this internal testing activity and Yunxi Primary School jointly build a science education innovation experience course, which is an attempt by both parties in industry, academia, research and application, based on the establishment of a long-term cooperative relationship, to jointly build a big science popularization ecology, collaborative innovation of aerospace science popularization courses, and carry out aerospace-themed education activities to provide children with more opportunities to contact the country's cutting-edge science and technology.
The principal of Yunxi Primary School said in his speech: "Aerospace science and technology is an important symbol of the country's comprehensive strength, and it is also an important part of popular science education for young people. Gao Yufeng, vice chairman of the China Aerospace Science Popularization and Culture Collaborative Innovation Platform and aerospace expert, said that through in-depth cooperation with schools, it will help cultivate the scientific literacy and innovation ability of young people, and provide more outstanding talents for the national aerospace industry in the future.
After the end of this closed beta test, the organizer will further improve the competition system according to the feedback of the participants, and provide a better scientific enlightenment experience for the participants. The relevant person in charge of the organizer said that he believed that with the joint efforts of all sectors of society, China's aerospace science popularization will usher in a better future, and more young people will grow into scientific and technological innovation talents in the new era under the guidance of the aerospace dream.
