Driven by a series of policies and measures to promote personnel exchanges between China and foreign countries, the traffic of large airports and ports such as Shanghai Pudong and Guangzhou Baiyun has grown rapidly.
With the gradual implementation of a series of entry and exit policies such as mutual visa exemption agreements this year, China and many countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand have entered the "visa-free era", and many countries and regions have granted Chinese citizens visa-on-arrival and other conveniences. At the entry and exit site of Shanghai Pudong Airport, the reporter saw an endless stream of passengers.
According to the data, in the first quarter, 4.85 million mainland residents chose to enter and exit through the Pudong Airport port, about 3.7 times that of the same period last year, more than 70% of the total number of people entering and exiting the port, and is the main force of the port passenger flow.

Moreover, due to the continuous release of the dividends of the "visa-free + exempt" policy of the National Immigration Administration, more than 110,000 foreigners entered the Baiyun Airport without a visa in the first quarter.
Huang Chengbo, Captain of the 13th Team on Duty at the Baiyun Border Inspection Station: In the first quarter of this year, the number of foreigners who came to China through the Baiyun Airport port for tourism, business, visiting relatives and friends, and transiting through the border has been steadily increasing. According to statistics, the number of foreign personnel entering and exiting ports in the first quarter has exceeded 850,000, a year-on-year increase of about 540%.
