Longteng Avenue is named after the word prayer. It means a beautiful vision, and it is in line with its main location in the Longhua area. This road was reconstructed, expanded and extended on a road originally called "Fengxi Road". Fengxi Road was built before 1990, along the Huangpu River in Longhua Airport, and extended to the north in early 2010 to the current starting and ending point, and extended to Longshui South Road to the south, and was renamed Longteng Avenue, which is still in use today.
Nowadays, Longteng Avenue, as the main axis connecting the entire Xuhui Riverside River area, is increasingly exuding a unique charm. On both sides of the road, wharves and factories have been transformed into art museums, tower cranes and airport runways have been transformed into parks, and water systems and green spaces are interspersed. Tank Art Center
Art parks converted from abandoned factories are not scarce in Shanghai, but art centers turned from oil tanks and barrels are eye-catching. The five oil storage tanks with a ceiling height of more than 15 meters belong to Shanghai Longhua Airport, the earliest airport built in China, and have now become an art space integrating exhibitions, parks, green spaces, squares, river views, and cafes.

Shanghai Center of Photography
The Shanghai Center of Photography (SCôP) is another place worth visiting. It is the first recognized non-profit photography art institution in China and the first professional art museum dedicated to photography in Shanghai. Visitors can enjoy a variety of different photography styles and techniques, and feel the charm of the art of photography.

West Bund Art Museum
Led by renowned British architect David Chipperfield, the museum took three years to build, and is located at the northernmost end of the Xuhui Riverside Green Belt, with greenery and river water. The West Bund Museum consists of three separate "boxes" arranged like windmills, each with a large floor-to-ceiling window on the outward side of the box, offering a panoramic view of the Huangpu River and the city.
Each building is divided into two floors, the upper floor is an exhibition space with daylight from the top, and the lower floor is a multi-functional comprehensive space, where not only can you view exhibitions, but also a public space for rest and art activities.

West Bank Vortex ORBIT
With a construction area of about 5,500 square meters, West Bund Spiral ORBIT was designed by Thomas Heatherwick, a world-class architect, with an open visual design and innovative architectural structure, encouraging visitors to explore and interact freely, like the stars in the star track, making "people" truly a part of public art.
The West Bund Vortex ORBIT recently completed a lighting ceremony. The lighting design of the building's façade uses streamlined elements, and the clever use of linear luminaires makes the façade of the building look like a winding ribbon from a distance, reflecting the surrounding buildings. The light and shadow colors of the exterior wall lights are rich in variety, which not only adds a strong artistic atmosphere to the building, but also makes it show a different three-dimensional and flexible beauty at night, integrating the unique charm of humanities and technology, and significantly enhancing the recognition of the building.

Long Museum (West Bund)
The museum is located at No. 3398 Longteng Avenue, the core location of the "West Bank Cultural Corridor" of Xuhui Riverside on the bank of the Huangpu River in Shanghai, designed and built by Chinese architect Liu Yichun (Dashe Architectural Design Office), with a total building area of about 33,000 square meters and an exhibition area of 16,000 square meters, which was officially opened in March 2014.
The main building of the museum is characterized by a unique "umbrella arch" structure, which is divided into four floors, and accommodates more open and participatory public spaces in terms of functional design, all of which make art no longer far from the public, but closely related to the public's daily leisure life, which is also the original intention and wish of the Long Museum.
