Build a bridge of love and illuminate the hearts of people with disabilities. On April 19, under the guidance of the Xianyang Charity Association, the Municipal Public Welfare Volunteer Branch organized more than 20 volunteers from the Information Service Team of Shaanxi Post Vocational College, the Ingenuity Volunteer Service Team of Shaanxi Energy Vocational College, and the Service Team of Shaanxi Finance and Economics Red Cross Society to Xianyang Bo'ai Special Children Education Center to carry out the 13th normal care for special children activity of "Sunshine • Companionship" to send sunshine companionship to the children.
Care for the growth of "stars" and radiate the red flame of "sunshine". At the beginning of the activity, the volunteers interacted with each child with the most sincere smiles and caring words, which made the whole scene full of endless warmth and joy. The volunteers carefully prepared and staged a series of young and witty programs: interactive performances of fun and hilarious games, melodious and engaging music performances that made the children sway to the rhythm of the music, and lively and interesting little stories full of fantasy, which introduced them to the wonderful world of fairy tales...... In addition to these professional programs, more integration links pushed the warm atmosphere of the event to a climax.
Even though there may be some obstacles to verbal communication, we can still build a deep and sincere friendship through eye contact and body language. Open the window of communication and illuminate the inner world. Time passes, and companionship is quiet. This activity not only brought laughter to the special children, but also gave the volunteers a deeper understanding of this special group, and will not forget their original intentions, give full play to the vitality of young people, and devote more affection to this special group for more lasting care and warmth.
