A wonderful spring outing in the eyes of college student volunteers
In the beautiful season when the spring breeze is blowing and everything is recovering, Children's Hope has carefully planned a unique spring outing in Zhengzhou People's Park. The purpose of this activity is to lead the children and parents of the medical assistant family to walk into the embrace of nature, appreciate the splendor of life, and let their souls be deeply relaxed and healed.
Children want help
The sun shines on every inch of the park, and everyone gathers here with joy and anticipation, ready to start this wonderful spring outing. Children waved their hands excitedly, parents smiled with satisfaction and anticipation, and volunteers handed out carefully prepared gift bags. Everyone's faces were filled with happy smiles, and they were full of beautiful longing for the upcoming spring outing.
Step into the park and the lush trees shade the flower-filled paths, adding endless life and energy to this beautiful day. Children are exploring this world full of wonders, and parents are also putting aside their usual busyness to share this rare happy time with their children. Everyone raised their mobile phones one after another to capture the most beautiful scenery in this spring.
During the event, we carried out a series of fun and creative games. First, we tried the interactive game of feeding bananas blindfolded, and the children and parents completed this trust-testing and fun challenge with laughter and laughter. Then, we revisited the classic game of our childhood, throwing sandbags, and everyone competed in groups, which not only exercised their bodies, but also deepened their friendship.
SPRING
As time passed, the energy supply came to pass. Everyone sat around and enjoyed delicious fruits and snacks, sharing their stories and feelings. In this relaxed and happy atmosphere, everyone's soul has been deeply relaxed and nourished.
At the end of the event, we organized a session to share our feelings and gains. The children said that this spring outing made them feel the beauty of nature and the wonder of life, and also made them cherish the time with their families even more. Parents were also full of emotion, saying that this activity not only allowed the children to grow and harvest, but also allowed them to regain the joy and meaning of life.

On another sunny afternoon, I once again carried my little camera and became a recorder of the children's hope field activities.
When I came to People's Park with the expectation of children's smiles, I found that there were few children who needed to be accompanied in this activity, and it seemed that there were more volunteers than children. Later, I learned that there were several children who were very much looking forward to participating in the hospital because of poor physical indicators and needed treatment in the hospital. Parents of children with children cannot enter special wards in the hospital to take care of their children, so they participate in this spring festival activity on behalf of their children.
The volunteer teacher did the support and guidance of this activity, and the children and parents held paper-cuts about spring in the park to find spring in the company of volunteers. In the past, we passed by the park, walked through the flowers and trees, and we may have feelings, but it is rare to consciously look for spring, but this time we can devote ourselves more to the details of spring. Whether it is parents, children or volunteers, their eyes are full of vitality and hope for spring.
At first, everyone didn't know each other, but in the game, whether it was blindfolded banana feeding or throwing sandbags, the joyful laughter has gradually integrated everyone. In just two hours, the spring light and interaction made everyone slowly open their hearts. At the end of the activity, the word used the most was happy, the children were happy to have so many people to play together, the parents were happy to return to the state of their childhood, and the volunteers were happy to say that doing public welfare was not a heavy thing. The mother of a young patient said, "The child can't come today, but I will definitely be able to infect the child when I go back today."
If you don't know the experience of these parents, we just enjoy it as an activity, but there is the ease of companionship in this heaviness, not to take the burden away, but to save a lot of life in the company. I think the burdens of life are different for us, but life needs to be accompanied from time to time, and the dark and oppressive life is just a color, not a definition.
