Singapore Company Registration Requirements

1. Company name: The Singapore company name must be in English, and Chinese name registration is not accepted at present. The name must end with PTE.LTD. (Forbidden words to be avoided in naming can be followed by us to understand)

2. Registered address: Singapore companies must provide a local registered address in Singapore, and must notify the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore within 14 days if there is a change in registered address;

3. Business scope: Singapore companies can choose up to 2 business items;

4. Registered capital: The minimum paid-up capital of a Singapore company is S$2,000, and there is no upper limit at the maximum. Singapore companies usually have no strict time limit for the payment of capital and are not subject to stamp duty.

The registered capital can be in Singapore dollars or other commonly used foreign currencies, and if the registered capital exceeds S$100,000, a separate fee will be charged. 5. Shareholder directors: copy of shareholder's passport, share ratio, address certificate (ID card can be used as address proof), director's passport copy, address certificate (ID card can be used as address proof);

Note: There is no restriction on the composition of the shareholders of a Singapore company, which can be either a natural person or a company.

The director of a Singapore company must be a natural person over the age of 18 and can consist of one or more directors, but must include at least one local director.
