According to Huawei's official disclosure, the satellite picture function is basically the same as the Beidou satellite message function in use, but it is not a text message but a picture. However, due to the limited bandwidth of the satellite, the sent image will be compressed with loss, resulting in a large gap between the image quality and the original image.

However, in emergency use, even if it is a lossy compressed picture, it is enough to distinguish the actual situation, and the way of picture + text is obviously more three-dimensional than a simple call and text.

At present, the satellite picture function of the Huawei Pura 70 series has not been followed up by other mobile phone brands in time. Some foreign media even said that this function is not available to Apple.
