"Calligraphy and Painting of the Same Origin" - Wang Ziquan and Gong Yueqin Calligraphy and Painting Joint Exhibition was grandly opened at 10 a.m. on April 20 in the Cultural and Art Exhibition Hall (first floor of Block C) of Huantai County New Era Civilization Practice Center. It is sponsored by Huantai County New Era Civilization Practice Service Center and Huantai County New Social Class Representative Association, and undertaken by Shandong Jingquan Culture Media Co., Ltd.
The joint exhibition of calligraphy and painting not only invited famous calligraphers and painters from all walks of life and colleagues who love calligraphy and painting, but also attracted young people from Huantai County to participate in this cultural feast, enhance their cultural self-confidence, and lead the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture.
Wang Ziquan and Gong Yueqin were born and raised on the shore of Mata Lake in Huantai, and were taught by the historical legend of "Jiangbei Green Box" and "Hairpin Family". The ever-growing cultural genes of their hometowns have become the distinctive background color of the works of the two authors. This joint exhibition of calligraphy and painting is the crystallization of their tireless efforts for many years, witnessing their arduous footprints in chasing their dreams of brush and ink art.
At the opening ceremony, Wang Shan, a famous host of Huantai County, announced the opening and introduced the guests. Wang Chao, Director of Huantai County New Era Civilization Practice Service Center, Bi Degang, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Huantai County New Social Class Representative Association, and other members of the leadership team, Zhang Huayong, President of Shandong Research and Travel Association, Li Lin, Secretary-General of Shandong Sand Painting Association, Gong Xufa, Professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Shandong University of Technology, Vice Chairman of Zibo Calligraphers Association, Wang Lihua, Secretary of the Party Committee and Honorary Chairman of Zibo Artists Association, Chairman of Huantai County Artists Association, Wang Xiqiang, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of Dongying Artists Association, Zhang Boxiang, vice chairman of Zibo Calligraphers Association and chairman of Zhangdian District Calligraphers Association, Tian Gencheng, vice chairman of Zibo Artists Association, Tian Shuguo, president of Zibo Printing Society, Chen Kemin, vice chairman and secretary general of Huantai County Calligraphers Association, and Han Qiang, vice president of Huantai County Couplet Association, attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Wang Ziquan and Gong Yueqin donated works to the Huantai County New Era Civilization Practice Service Center, and Wang Chao, the person in charge of the Huantai County New Era Civilization Practice Service Center, issued donation certificates to the two donors.
After the opening ceremony, the leading guests and audience friends moved to the exhibition, Wang Ziquan introduced the calligraphy fonts, content and the actual situation of the usual antique posts to the experts and teachers in the calligraphy and painting industry, and listened carefully to the suggestions and criticisms of the experts.
In this exhibition, the connotation and self-criticism of each work were introduced in detail to the calligraphy and painting colleagues and beginner enthusiasts who came to the exhibition, so as to not only get the exchange with the calligraphy and painting colleagues, but also give the beginners the confidence of traditional culture. Chinese calligraphy and painting not only convey the feeling of beauty, but also inherit history and culture, carry forward the national spirit, and gather the strength to forge ahead.
