On April 8, the Jieyang Municipal Development and Reform Bureau issued the "Jieyang Energy Storage Development Plan (2023-2030)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan").

In 2025, the scale of new energy storage power stations in the city's new energy power generation projects will reach 300,000 kilowatts, 600,000 kilowatts in 2027, and 1.1 million kilowatts in 2030.

In terms of supporting measures for the development of energy storage power stations, the "Planning" points out that 7 major measures, such as supporting the construction of new energy storage with new energy storage, improving the regulation capacity of thermal power, encouraging the development of user-side energy storage, exploring pilot applications such as hydrogen energy storage, promoting the construction of virtual power plants, promoting the pilot demonstration of new energy storage technology innovation, and promoting the sharing and integrated development of energy storage and new infrastructure, aim to realize the transformation of new energy storage from the initial stage of commercialization to large-scale development, gradually cultivate and improve the market environment and business model, and significantly improve the innovation ability of new energy storage technology.

Comments: Under the guidance of the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, the mainland is accelerating the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system and promoting the construction of a new power system.
