A few days ago, Cheqq.com learned from domestic media that the all-new AMG GT 63 S E Performance was officially released. The new car will be powered by a 4.0T V8 engine and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds faster than the flagship AMG One.
On the outside, the all-new AMG GT 63 S E Performance remains the same as the previously announced concept car, with a sleek and sensual design paired with a performance-filled exterior package that creates a style unique to AMG sports cars. The new car also offers an active aerodynamic front spoiler, AMG Active Ride Control, semi-active roll stabilisation, rear-wheel steering, and AMG ceramic high-performance braking system to further enhance handling.
The interior design and functional layout of the all-new AMG GT 63 S E Performance have not changed much, with only minor adjustments to the body-coloured trim that enhances the visual tension. The new car will adopt a 2+2 seat layout, and the front seats will be AMG's high-performance Saihua integrated bucket seats, which support electric adjustment and seat massage functions.
In terms of powertrain, the all-new AMG GT 63 S E Performance is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 4.0T twin-turbocharged V8 engine + electric motor, with a maximum engine horsepower of 612Ps, a total horsepower of 204Ps for the rear axle motor, and a combined maximum horsepower of 816Ps. The fuel system is mated to an AMG Speedshift MCT 9-speed automatic manual transmission, and the rear motor is mated to a dual gearbox. The car is also equipped with the AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system as standard.
